  1. Has anyone Installed the Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 Coilovers on a NON-SAS Badlands?

I installed the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T 255/85s (pizza cutters) on stock non-Sas Badlands wheels when in Moab. I have a 1ā€ front lift (spacers) and get no rubbing at full flex with the crash bars still installed. Trail confirmed on Poison Spider. Pics of the clearance at full lock on...
  2. 7Mile Rim Trip Moab Utah.

Iā€™m probably older! And yes, itā€™s a bit odd calling these beefy-looking Mickey Thompsons pizza cutters. With the big side lugs on them they look almost as wide as the stock 285s.
  3. 7Mile Rim Trip Moab Utah.

I love my pizza cutters! I put them on while in Moab last October (replaced the stock 33s) and noticed a big difference in rollover ease and ground clearance. In Moab itā€™s hard for me to notice any traction difference as both the K02s and the Baja Boss A/Ts seemed to be equal. In winter...
  4. Door keypad for '24?

Thatā€™s exactly how a salesperson at our local dealer explained it to me. I was told about 10% of buyers use the factory-installed keypads. Like many here, I find that surprising as I use it all the time, but there you have it. Thatā€™s across all Fordā€™s model lineup, BTW.
  5. Door keypad for '24?

Thatā€™s also a good location! Well done.
  6. Door keypad for '24?

Thatā€™s where I put mine - no issues.
  7. 35" KO2s vs 33" KO3s or...

Note I do have a 1ā€ lift on the front - not sure if it would clear without it. No idea on the wheels but check this forumā€™s buy and sell threads.
  8. 35" KO2s vs 33" KO3s or...

Yep. Put the tires through their range on sand whoops and rock ledges without any rubbing. Very happy with the Micky Tees.
  9. Orange everywhere you look (gallery)

I beg to differ - check the colour of an actual orange! šŸ˜‰
  10. 35" KO2s vs 33" KO3s or...

I did Box Car Loop and Kamikaze yesterday. Moderate-hard ledges on them. Climbed and descended with ease - I was amazed that there was no knocks on the bottom as I certainly would have been hitting the control arm mounts and rear bumper recovery hooks if I was on the 33s. Climbing the ledges I...
  11. 35" KO2s vs 33" KO3s or...

Good points and good discussion. For consideration - look at the width of the tires used by the Ultra 4 vehicles as a guide to what racers use for widths. The biggest advantage for me was the tire clearance sitting on stock Badlands non-SAS suspension with the 1ā€ front lift, and on stock 17.8...
  12. 35" KO2s vs 33" KO3s or...

Thanks, and yep - I have the 255s and not the 285s. I replaced the OEM BFG 285/70R17 with the 255/85R17s. Iā€™ll correct my OP. Holiday brain at workā€¦ :) Iā€™ve run them for three days on the rocks aired down to 18psi. I started the week on my K02s and cannot feel much difference in sidewall flex...
  13. 35" KO2s vs 33" KO3s or...

Iā€™m in Moab right now and just replaced my stock 33ā€ KO2s with the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT ā€œpizza cuttersā€ in 255/85R17 (35ā€ diameter). Couldnā€™t be happier. They do not rub at full flex with the crash bars in (1ā€ lift in front) and Iā€™ve noticed a significant improvement in both clearance...
  14. Bronco owner loses his mind after getting hit on Hell's Gate @ Moab. Are we better than this?

When you are at Hellā€™s Gate you can see there is not much room at the bottom of this hill to get ā€œout of the wayā€. The camera images make it seem like you approach this obstacle from the back when in reality you are at the bottom of a number of slickrock features. Thereā€™s nowhere else to be...
  15. Anyone running 285/75/17 tires on their Bronco Badlands wheels?

Thanks for the response, @BroncoAZ. So, perhaps my confusion lies in the LT designation on my OEM KO2s. Though I canā€™t seem to find the specs for BFG, I had assumed a tire designated LT would be at least a D rating, while P-designation is for lower load ratings like C. Are your tires also LTs?
  16. Anyone running 285/75/17 tires on their Bronco Badlands wheels?

The OEM KO2s on my 2021 non-sas Badlands are LTs, E-rated. Not sure about the previous comments on the ā€œriskā€ with E-rated tiresā€¦maybe I missed something?
  17. Will be in Moab September 28 - October 11: looking for trail buddies

My wife and I will be in Moab Sep 28-Oct 11 and would enjoy some company on the trails. If anyoneā€™s interested in hooking up for some trails please let me know and we could make some plans. We like to get away from the big crowds and see some scenery (maybe small hikes) in addition to having fun...
  18. Stalled out on incline around 12,500'

Any chance you got a bad batch of gasoline? (Likely others in your group fuelled at the same time with the same juiceā€¦)
  19. Stalled out on incline around 12,500'

Were you having the problem in high or low range?
  20. 34x10.5r17 KO2’s…

I am wanting to go to true 35s x 10.5 or 11.5 on my stock Badlands 17x8 wheels, but the catch for me is I need to have a good 3-peak winter rated A/T tire in C or D rating. Canā€™t find any in this size that are currently available so Iā€™m needing to go with the 285/75R17s. Likely the Nokian Outposts.
