Hey guys, I have a set of basically new flares off my Badlands non sas if anyone needs a set.... And a never used 4dr front top panel storage bag for sale. Local to lower mainland. Reasonable offers! Thanks!
I added sport mode to my badlands last week... It's quite punchy... But mines a moardoor so I doubt it'll do that lol... Leaving from 2nd to get rid of the 1st gear tq management?
I did a 50 mile off fireroad romp up and down the mountain last week just after I filled up with gas. Before I really knew this road, or if it was wet I was getting about 15 mpg. Last week after the latest mods for "testing" purposes I got 12.3mpg. it was a fun 12.3.... we were rippin pretty...
I have the 6100's and badlands springs. I still had a little to much of front lean with them... Probably due to the badlands springs. Mine went up around 2.5" all around. But it annoyed me so I took 40 mins and added a little 3/8" spacer to the front struts, on top of the 6100's. That leveled it...
It's not bolted to the floor. When the bikes aren't on it the whole thing comes out and leans up against the wall of the garage. The way it fits in its sturdy and doesn't move at all with the bikes on it. You could strap it down with the floor mounts if you wanted to tho. The bikes don't move...
I have felt on the ends, kinda of wedging the board in place. If I needed to I was going to strap the fork mount to the tie downs! But it hasn't been needed!
So I didn't like any of the racks available, and I didn't want my bikes hanging off anything. So I made this fork holder rack with a 2x6 and a couple fork mounts. About $60 total and a jigsaw. Works great.. for my bike to get it snugged in there I just hit my dropper post switch and the seat...
Ok, got pics. The rear skid plate that I cut now goes on first. The front skid on now goes on last and it leaves a slot right over the new diff drop. Totally lines up with the new diff drop for drilling and tapping a hole to make a new mount point there.
Yeah I figured that's probably what you meant after I replied ... But I do not have pics or vids of that just yet. I'll try to get some in the morning. 🍻
I just found this thread now, like others lol. Mine is a 21 Badlands 4dr build week Nov. 29th... So I didn't have much hope that it was boxed. But it is indeed the boxed style.
Yeah those rear bolts... I almost wanted to get my ten year old and his little hands & forearms to squeeze in there past the cats and shaft to feed em in... I got them just as my forearms started to cramp up lol. So that was good haha
I did not cut the bolt flange off the front skid.... Where...
