Yeah, thanks! I did reach out to them and they said they are are in production. They estimate mid March, which is too close for comfort for me.
I'm shifting strategy and going for a spare tire carrier mount and of course then, a ground tent approach. The inside of the Bronco will be...
I could reach out to Turn Off-road, but I don’t think you can get the roof panels off with that design…. I could make it work for this trip, but would be selling it as soon as I got home! LOL.
That’s what I was afraid of. It looked like they were a vendor who had items in stock. I reached out to their customer service and they promptly replied that the rack and side panels are currently in production, but won’t be in for another few weeks. This means I’m likely out of luck.
@Maximus3311, How has your experience with RCI gone? I'm planning a trip to Moab in a few weeks and making a last minute decision to add a bunch of gear. Did you place an order for the rack? Did it arrive yet? How was installation??? Sorry for all the questions, but my procrastination has...
I got ya brother... I wasn't remarking on your post. It was a comment on what I thought you were looking for (first time owners) vs list how many fords you have/do own. But either is interesting.
There's not much to add at this point, but having owned both, I can tell you that they each perform well. Like a bunch of others have said, it really comes down to you. For me, the 2.7 is way more "fun" to drive. The 2.3 was impressive for what it was, but my fun factor (seat of the pants...
This makes me smile!!!!
In a long strange run of events, I smoked a deer in the wife's Audi Q5 on NYE this year. While the damage looked minimal, the insurance co totaled the vehicle. So, since I kept the Denali, I'm back in that and the wife is driving the Bronco! I think she may have called...
I was at the Moab off roadeo a few weeks back. We rented a Jeep while out there from Turo. Rodrigo (the owner) had recommended Potash Rd to Shaffer Switchbacks up to Canyonlands NP. We couldn't be happier! It was beautiful, stressful, and worth every second. It's not an obstacle-rich route...
Hi all. I'm heading to the Moab Off Roadeo April 13th via Minnesota. I plan to fly to Pheonix AZ on Delta, then switch to Contour for Az to Moab (Canyonlands Regional Airport). Has anyone here used Contour before? Should I be concerned about cancellations or delays? Thanks for any info/advice!
I've got about 18k miles on my Bad-Squatch Lux-MGV. I can say the seats are some of the most comfortable I've been in. Over the past 20+ years, I have only had leather in my vehicles and it was a hard decision to go with the MGV, but I'm glad I did. The loss of power adjustment isn't missed...
I am glad to see people reading and commenting on YOUR harrowing story @popo_patty! I thank you for sharing the story and the mods for getting it the visibility it deserves! Thank you!
It's really important to see the damage that can occur with ROPE! I'm very new to the sport, but assumed that kinetic rope is safer than chain. Maybe it is, but rope is a serious threat too!
I would like to get some proper training of how to set up my vehicle and how to safely use the...
I haven't been flashed in 30 years since I was road-tripping down to Daytona Beach for spring break. :p
Seriously though, I have a complete stock BadSquatch and had a stock Outer Banks before that. Both got flashed many times. I think it's a combination of bright LED lights and possible...
Hey all, I want to try this in October, but the dates are all blocked. Do they not schedule out that far in advance? Are there rumors of it coming to an end?
I just noticed this or a similar vibration while towing my fishing boat (3000lbs). It was only noticeable above 65mph. 2002 Badlands Sas 4-door. Not sure if that helps to isolate the issue, but I do not notice it when trailering lighter stuff (SXS) or without the trailer. It wasn't awful...
