  1. I guess steps really aren’t necessary with the Sasquatch package

Visiting family and totally forgot to bring a footstool to help my aunts in and out of the Bronco. First aunt says she doesn’t need steps, and using the built in handle and the paracord handle I installed climbs in with surprising ease. She’s 83 years old, and not much above 5’ tall. A...
  2. “Free” shower every time I open the tailgate glass after car wash

So I’ve noticed that after I get a car wash, the plastic grab handle at the bottom of the tailgate glass fills with water. The result is that if you open the tailgate afterwards, you get water dumped on your head. Is this just me, or is this a known issue?
  3. JCR Bronco Bull Bar

Just 10 bolts and a few hundred dollars are all that separates you from a rather burly bar that doesn’t interfere with the 360 cam. A few notes: - Be sure to get a T40 plus bit. Bolts come out easy, but you’ll want to not mess things up when torquing. - Torque bolts to 25Nm. That’s just over...
  4. Two Braptors, one Sasquatch (me) and one non-Sasquatch

So on my way to church I (Badlands Sasquatch) was behind a non-Sasquatch Bronco. Was amazing how different it looked. Not in a bad way, but more of a “they could do some light off-roading, use the car for their daily lives, and probably have an easier time climbing in than I do”. As I was...
  5. Most impressive thing about the Sasquatch tires

Sure they look cool. Sure they’re big. But the most important thing is that a few miles of gravel road driving allows me to pick up enough rocks to keep tailgaters at bay for a solid week - even with mudflaps front and rear.
  6. Color match, color contrast, or…

So while I understand why people like to color match things, it’s definitely not my taste…feels a little “check out my outfit” to me. I do appreciate a bit of contrasting color, or matching to something that isn’t a primary color. Doesn’t quite feel so over the top. But then there’s the case...
  7. What music do you think just fits your Bronco?

Some music just fits certain vehicles. What do you think fits the Bronco?
  8. Cleaning the inside of the hard top?

Any suggestions as to how to clear dirty scuffs on the inside of the painted top? Noticed a few places that are grimy and now I can’t unsee them…
  9. What mods/accessories do you wish were on the market?

This is everyone’s opportunity to say “I wish someone…” and for smart companies to get it done. 1. A pre-runner style bar that mounts to the modular bumper that does not show up in any way on the camera. Some of them are “close” but if they just made it a tiny bit larger, there’d be no problem...
  10. This Bronco does some amazing rock crawling with really small tires

Man, watching this video might put a dent in my budget for mods…
  11. Anyone want to take one for the team? JUSN side steps

I really like the way these appear to attach - seems like you don’t get finish gouging from the set screw like other steps. Only retailer I can find appears to be adv4x4works which is located in China. I’d love to try these steps out, but I’m rather wary of ordering them from an overseas...
  12. Does anyone make metal headlight protectors?

I’ve found a variety of plastic ones, but was curious as to if anyone makes the old school mesh style headlight protectors, or even ones that have metal bars across them for the Bronco.
  13. Front seat back MOLLE panels - usage ideas?

So I’d love to hear some ideas on how to utilize the front seat back MOLLE panels that will still allow for a passenger to be safe and comfortable in the rear. Beyond that, where’s really the next place you’d add MOLLE panels and what would you put there? I guess I’m just used to having some...
  14. Proclips USA mounting plate (phone and other items)

Had great experiences with ProClips gear in vehicles going back over a decade. Got their mounting plate that fits on the dash, and gives you two 1/4”-20 mounting points and up to three AMPS mounting points. I also got an arm that mounts to the plate with dual AMPS mounting plates, a Scosche...
  15. Safari / Bull Bar — actual benefit?

Looking for folks who have either the safari bar or some sort of bull bar, and have actually experienced a benefit from them. Yes, they look cool. And yes they theoretically prevent damage..but I’m actually hoping to hear from folks for which it isn’t theoretical, specifically what they are...
  16. Rokblokz XL long on Badlands Sasquatch

So I decided to get the XL long for extra on road protection as I routinely take gravel roads as shortcuts. I’ve gotten the fronts on, and was tempted to stop there, but my wife insists that it’d be rude to not put the rears on. Which I will do. Another day. At any rate, some thoughts...
  17. Is Ford really making you decide between using the built in Nav and supplying the data brokers?

So I went through and hit the toggle on the connectivity screen that ensures Ford can’t sell my data to Verisk, data brokers that sell to Verisk, etc. Fast forward to today, and I wanted a second opinion while stuck in traffic from what Waze was saying, and apparently I can’t use the Nav...
  18. My job is going to save me a ton of money on mods!

Drove my Badlands Sasquatch to work for the first time on Tuesday. Thankfully, I know that the vehicle height would be under 6’6”, which is the height of the garage. Would have had a real issue with an Everglades straight off the showroom floor. By my math, it looks like it is just over 6’3”...
  19. Thoughts on the official Ford PPF kits?

So it seems like Ford offers kits for the highest likelihood areas of damage (front as well as lower parks of doors). Anyone have experience with it? Frankly, I’m not looking to drop thousands of dollars on PPF, but curious as to if it does a “good enough” job to where it is better than...
  20. So you got the Sasquatch package? A few words regarding your tires.

So one thing I didn’t click on to beforehand is that the tires that come with package are mud terrain (MT) tires. **Edit: in many cases - like mine. Some trims may be different. Check to see what you have, and if you have MT, keep reading** And maybe others didn’t know or don’t know. Which...
