My body is still sore from doing my install and I didn't do the UCA's. The front settled a bit for me and the rear has stayed the same so far. I'm scheduled for an alignment on Monday so if I need to do any more adjustments I will do them the next couple of days.
Current height settings.
Are the 4WP/ProComp UCA's shorter than the stock arms which helps to pull the top of the wheel back in to help with alignment? It was hard to tell from the photo with both arms if that is the case or not.
That looks like it has some sort of lift in the front. My 2 door Sas was 38-3/4" up front with the 35's so yours being at 40 might have a leveling kit on it. Take a look or picture of the top and bottom of the front shocks to see if there are spacers.
I installed the top section and then made some adjustments before bolting in the bottom section so I started lower than the out of the box setting. Then I lowered them more after some driving.
Yeah, mine were reaching for the sky when I got the fronts done and lowered the jack. I turned them down a bit and went for a drive and they came down 1-1/2" for me. I think I was at 43" to the flare from the ground (on KO2 37's) and now I'm around 41.5" so it's better. I think there was more...
I'm getting right around 7.5" from the top of the tire to the metal fender itself. I think I still want to lower the front a little so that might get me down to 7.25" when I adjust it. The rear was also 7.5 so I'm pretty level at the moment.
I have a Turbosmart VR-19 dual port blowoff valve TS-0223-1082. I don't have the original box but it comes with the O-ring, mounting screws and mounting collar. This fits both the 2.3 and 2.7 engines, I'm not sure about the 3.0 so you may want to verify that. $195 plus shipping from 08560 in...
From their website "***NOTE*** ProCal 4 software only available for Windows 7 or greater. Will NOT work with Windows 10 in "S Mode"."
You need a PC to download the software then with the voucher that comes with the Procal you doenload the specific tune. Then you go to your truck and download...
That was all 5 rims with the tires and TPMS sensors still in them. That was 2 years ago so the price is probably lower now with so many Broncos out there.
I'd go for the V6 which is what I did. Lots of mods available for it and it still pulls down solid mpg. Get the Sas package and the 4.7 gearing will help if you decide to go up to 37's in the future.
I just installed the 4WP/ProComp adjustable coilovers this past week. I was running the KO2 37's on the stock Sas suspension and it would rub at full lock on an incline but worked fine for the most part. I did the install myself with jackstands in the garage (with a bad shoulder) and I'm...
I think half the stuff is torx plus. It's crazy the mixture of bolts they use and only provide 1 or 2 in the toolkit with the truck. If it's not a snug fit with a torx, it's probably torx plus so don't use the torx on it.
I installed the ProComp adjustable coilovers on Thu-Fri. I need to let them break in before doing any final adjustments and alignment but it drives better than stock.
It's hard to tell any real difference since I've done a few other mods as well. But you can definitely hear the turbo whirring at lower speeds so the factory elbow may be more for reducing noise but it does look like it tries to induce swirl.
I finally got around to installing my ProComp coilovers yesterday and today. I still need to make some adjustments after giving them time to break in.
Update 4/5: I made a couple of adjustments and the fronts are around 41-1/2" and the LR is around 41-5/8" and RR is at 42". The RR has...
That's not true. 2023 had multiple price increases but if you got an early order, it was under $40K for a base Sas for sure. Base price was $33,090 and Sas was $6590 and that got you the automatic under $40K.
