Results from my 2023 4 door 2.7 BigBend non-Sas (3.73 rear end on 33's) with JB4 on Map 3 93 octane tune and Borla muffler. It launches softly from both idle or brake torquing, so it's a terrible 2.5 60'. Best stock pass on Dragy was a 14.96 at 92.6 mph quarter mile and 0 to 60 of 6.63.
So...
I've got the Nokian Outpost P rated in that 285 70 17 size on mine. I believe they are about 45 lbs. I typically run them between 33 and 37 psi. Have 23000 miles on them and wearing well with low road noise. Went through IL winter just fine with them, and dirt roads are not an issue. They will...
I bought a vented seat cushion powered by a fan from Amazon last year. It works well enough to not make me hate the seats anymore. Mine is an older version of this one...
The link below is a sample race with the F-150s demonstrating that the lower end torque advantage of the 2.7 helps it actually be quicker than the 5.0 in this particular sample of 2 stock vehicles. Yeah, I'd also love the deeper sound of a V8, and there are some really quick 5.0 F-150's out...
I somewhat took this approach too going for my non-Sas Big Bend as I'm not an off-roader and didn't need the heavy duty armor and equipment needed for protection on trails. Driving dynamics between the lightest and heaviest are certainly going to be different, and that's an important factor for me.
I've had my Oracle taillights for over 18,000 miles with no issues (knock on wood). It's difficult to say if those that have problems are the norm, or just the most visible and vocal. Since those without issues tend not to start threads or post about it. Even without a warranty on mine, I...
Going to a lighter wheel always helps me justify a new wheel purchase as being "not just for looks". Improvements to handling, braking, and acceleration may be difficult to quantify, but it's a certainly a better move than going to something heavier. My 17x8 TK15 Sport Terrains come in at 23 lbs.
I pretty much built my own with a Borla Pro XS ($110) mounted in the middle ($50 to weld it on at a local independent muffler shop) and a Red Rock muffler delete pipe ($80) bolted on to replace the OEM muffler. No drone on the highway due to the mid mount location. A bit better tone and volume...
Obviously each vehicle has their own advantages and purposes for drivers that want something different. Each is quite capable over nearly any terrain, and a decent demonstration of Raptor functionality and performance while having some fun without being a true test or review. It was just...
That would make me a bit hesitant as well. Seems like things have gotten better with these sets, and they are responsive if there are any issues. Knock on wood, but I've had zero problems with mine. At least they aren't having the issues like the Morimoto tail lights.
Understood, just sharing my own solutions for increasing the front visibility of my own Bronco that works independently of Auto, off, on, parking, etc...
Anyway, it'll always be a higher priority to see the front of another vehicle moving towards you than the rear of a vehicle moving the same...
I love this lighting look, and often run this way also with my poverty headlight package. I also added some dual orange DRL/white flood pod lights that I illuminate when desired.
