I historically used motor flush on all my cars just before or as part of an oil change. My Tacoma has 330,000 miles on it and still running strong. Never had any issues although I have not yet tried it on my Bronco.
I have Kenda Cleaver 35 x 10 1/2“ tires on a 17 inch steel OEM rim. No clearance issues no rubbing, but I did remove the crash bars. THEY ARE EXCELLENT ON AND OFF ROAD so could be a good choice for you if you move to 17” wheels
I’ve been struggling with the air coming out of the a pillar for quite some time and the dealer told me that that’s perfectly normal for these cars. Well normal for these cars isn’t normal for me! And a real PITA. Thanks for your post because I’ve tried it and it appears to work! And yes, there...
Are we all saying that you can’t just buy LED tail light bulbs or back up bulbs and put them in place of the halogen’s without having to reprogram the car?
Tru dat. I used to be able to sit in the engine bay straddling the 4 cylinder carbureted engine and do everything myself. Now I am only able to do fluid/filter changes, tire rotations and MAYBE a brake service (but that has yet to be seen as I am reading about the programming needed before...
I installed them on my non sas black diamond. Frankly I did t see much if any improvement t on road or on the trail and I didn’t get the full 2” lift as advertised. they are much bigger diameter than OEM so I suppose they will do a better job if on longer washboard trails
That’s exactly what happened to me. I first tried to epoxy using the Permax kit and it failed twice so I brought it into the dealer. They first tried to epoxy it And it failed again. Then they brought their glass guy in and he soldered it and that too failed after just a week. They ultimately...
lol. It plagues all of us!!! I put a cord through a hole in the tray and use that to pull the tray out when I need to get below. I also added some Velcro to the edges of the tray to keep it in place which has helped preventing spilling its contents
I am running 35” Kenda klevers on my black diamond I removed the crash bars don’t have any rubbing — these tires are same width as OEM -10.5“ and are on my original steelies. I like them after a full year on snow rain and rough rocky trails. They are very good on the highway too and...
With all the problems, people have been having with the hard tops, delaminating, cracking, fading, peeling, etc. I wouldn’t do anything to the top three that might bring that on.
Upgrading the fuse but not the wiring it services is dangerous. I’ve read several posts that seem to say the gauge of the wires are too small esp if you are close to maxing out the fuse rating. To play it safe I added my own relay and heavier gauge wires to the lights I installed.
My first FORD as well. Have always been a TOYOTA truck guy. Sorry to say you should expect the worst and hope for the best. I for one am keeping my fingers crossed.
