I’m sorry you had a difficult experience with the install. We will address all of this with you first thing tomorrow morning. We will do whatever it takes to make this right for you.

You can easily reconfigure it by purchasing another light. Each light has its own wire. A baja S2 or many of the generic lights with the same design will fit the opening perfectly.

That area is what sits up against the weather gaskets and keeps the tailgate water tight.

I would recommend running some silicone based gasket/ rubber conditioner on the OEM tailgate seal. That’s generally where these kinds of squeaks come from. I have not heard of the rear window on the hard top producing a noise when wet.

As of today 1.23.25 we're behind on the defrost kits due to backorders on the OEM Ford parts. We are shipping them separately so that we don't delay shipping your hard top while we wait on parts from Ford.

Sounds good! Just push the grommet through and its easy to get it started on one side. Just use the flat blade as a "poker" from the inside to help the inner bulge over the lip of the glass.

A flat blade can be used carefully from the inside to help the grommet through without touching the glass.

Soap and water help and a flat blade screwdriver help a lot. They fit very tight.
