They know. The dealer has to file a claim with ford when cars show up with damage. Happens way more than most people realize but usually itās something stupid like a scratch or stone chip from being on the carrier on the highway
If they offered me a f150 raptor at the same price with no adm I would take that in a heart beat. Iāve sat in a few bronco and driven a few raptors and I know the bronco is too small for my family needs
So I have no experience with this dealer but i have worked in multiple Ford dealers and 2 of them record all phone calls for ātrainingā purposes but itās usually used for conflict resolution when itās someone word against someone else. Since New Jersey is a 1 party consent state it is possible...
Donāt worry about the selling dealership. The recall notices get set out using registration info. It just takes longer for the information to get to Ford after the resells especially a car reselling this soon. Just call your nearest/preferred dealer and ask for updates on the parts availability
I havenāt heard anything from dealer about it, which is pretty sad considering I work there. But Iām 90% positive Iām gonna cancel anyway. Bronco is to small for me. And by 2 small I mean not enough cargo room.
Even if they canāt get it out, if you leave it alone they can take a picture of it and send it to Ford and get authorization to replace the glass section
Iāve had come close one in old city in Philly, Atlantic City and in Baltimore but never encountered one I didnāt fit in with my f150 with a 2 inch lift and 35 inch tires
I was basing my statement off of my experiences as a ford dealership tech. I didnāt see name but someone commented about why look up the info no for an advanced notice? And from a dealership point of view, if I run your vin in the ford system, oasis, and it shows up then it canāt be sold until...
With it being a delivery hold recall. The ones in transit to dealers that are affected are not legally aloud to be sold until resolved so those will sit on the dealer lots until parts are available which I suspect will be late this year or early next year since Ford said ordering info will be...
It was before ford included them. It was back in 2012. It probably didnāt help that customer was an asshole to everyone at the dealership and the ford rep.
thatās not entirely true. I have personally seen warranty get voided,at a previous dealership I worked at we had a mustang come in for a problem and ford ended up sending an engineer out to look at the car. after a few mins looking over the car he stopped what he was doing and packed up his...
The requirement for the amount required for disclosure varries state by state. Iāve heard some states require anything and some as high as 5k before disclosing. I would think it would show up on a car fax reports. Iām just assuming it would be an insurance repair. My best guess since the dealer...
Repair like that wouldnāt show up on oasis. Oasis shows vehicle info like vin, build date engine and trans and related codes and recent warranty repairs. Collision damage is never warranty
