I have a 2.7 badlands and out the PPE deep pan on it. You just drop the sway bay a bit., unhook the electrical and 4 bolts. No clearance issues with the disconnecting sway bar. The tighter fit is between the exhaust pipe cross over, But thats not much of a problem...

This is a view of the 2.7 looking from under the bronco looking strait up towards the sky. After you remove the stock intercooler and shroud, this is the hole you're are left with. My solution was to buy this trash can from Lowe's...

So, The heating element looks to be threaded, Is there treads in the block behind the freeze plug on the 2.7?
