IMO there is only one reason to buy a Bronco: because it's available with a manual transmission. That's certainly the only reason I own one. There are many better SUVs available if you want an automatic.
One more data point:
My Bronco sat outside at the Newark airport for 24 days and fired right up with no detectable complaints. Late February was cold, but March was unreasonably warm. There appears to be no or minimal parasitic drain. Impressive!
I'm curious if Ford conducted an owner satisfaction survey. A search on Google and on bronco6g.com came up empty. I think this is the first time i ever bought a new vehicle and the manufacturer didn't send me a survey to hear my thoughts. I realize that not everyone would get a survey even if...
Looks like a better design than the OEM. I wonder why no aftermarket manufacturers offer a hardtop that utilizes the OEM rear window from the OEM hardtop. Seems like that would be easy to remove/install, would save a lot of money, and reduce shipping weight.
I'm wondering if anyone has a way of finding/calculating the percentage of total posts that are related to the roof. Between wind noise, road noise, water leaks, creaking, cracking, aftermarket roofs, and delamination, I'd bet that roof issues (hard top and soft top) have generated the most (or...
I've never steam cleaned (never had to), but i regularly hose down my engine. I spray diluted Simple Green all over, then hose it off. If there are an stubborn stains, I use a brush to loosen it. I've been doing this to my cars for literally decades. I do it maybe every 4th washing. My engine...
Iāll get yelled at again for saying this, but if Ford offered a fixed metal (non removable) roof version of the Bronco with a manual transmission, Iād buy one in a second. I love everything about my Bronco except for the ridiculous top.
You own two of the last vehicles on the planet that can still be purchased with manual transmissions and you chose the automatic for both? That's just depressing and sad....
Threads like this hurt my brain. So I guess the consensus is that Ford specifies a synthetic blend for these engines deliberately so we ruin our engines and have to buy new ones?
The ownerās manual does not even list a full synthetic option. Car/engine engineers design engines based on a...
Nice! But what would REALLY make sense would be if Ford made a slot for the key in place of the idiotic start button. And then you rotated the key to start the car! That way, you wouldnāt have to find a separate place to put the key. It seems so logical that itās hard to believe that no one...
The last time I had an on-road breakdown was due to a failed water pump in a BMW in 2016. Before that, it was a fuel pump failure on an Alfa in 2000. Before that, it was a timing belt on a Toyota in 1996. Canāt remember past that, but I donāt recall EVER having to put a spare tire on due to a...
Beautifu! The GT is such a timelessly beautiful design. I saw a yellow one a month ago, but they are extremely rare. In college in the late 70s, a friend had an Opal Manta. His was the only one Iāve ever seen.
