I wouldn’t use the paracord. When you are grabbing a handle for stability you want to grab a fixed point, not something that’s also moving like paracord. I bought the seven Sparta ones Brian_B suggested. I liked the construction (very solid), but I did not like the design - the grip is too...
Hi all. I’m going up from stock 32” big bend tire (255 75/17) to bigger 33” (285 70/17). My 4 door big bend is pretty light with no heavy mods, and I do primarily road driving with a tiny bit of snow and dirt/gravel roads. Looking for P rated SL load A/T tires. Im looking at these tires...
I believe you can buy just the brackets from Ford. Please confirm but I believe OEM bracket part numbers are M2DZ-54200B38-A and M2DZ-54200B39-A. you would need 1 of each
Now, if you were swapping out hoop steps, then you wouldn’t need new brackets cause you could just use the ones that came...
Thanks Caleb. I appreciate all that explanation - very helpful. I’m sure so many things go into the end result feel of suspension, including size, kind, and weight of tires, weight of mods and other suspension tweaks (like the upgraded springs you mention). But I like the feel you describe -...
Joe, so since you are confirmed to have the Accutune Kings, can you pls give me a little more detail on how they compare to the billsteins on road? I’m looking for more comfortable supple feel when going over rough roads at all speeds, including especially highway. Thx!
Hey Johnny! Thanks for the reply. So two questions. First, do you have the Accutune tuned kings with the linear valving? That seems to make a meaningful difference. Second, I wasn’t necessary looking for a HUGE improvement over the 3.0 foxes, but I am just trying to get the best I can...
This is exactly my point. And why I specified the Accutune king shocks, because they have the linear valving. I’m just looking to hear from people with those specific Accutune king shocks. Thanks.
