There is no way to say who is best or most reliable, but it is a good place to start looking, and I don’t think there are any bad ones listed. It definitely will help you understand all the options available for purchase by...
Install flush headlights. And maybe some mounting system that works with the spare tire carrier, like LOD.
I have JCR swing out storage and tire carrier (bumper mounted), with the Hi lift jack rack. They have a Universal, depends on your bumper though.
After years I ditched the Hi-Lift...
Thanks - and granted it is not easy for anyone including you guys to know all the ARB messaging, because it is so new (they are still fine tuning it). I talked at length with corporate today:
Select aftermarket dealers can install all the parts on an existing currently owned/driven Bronco...
I was able to Forscan today after all and both IATs are there, so that’s easy. Burger is still indicating I can maybe get both in JB4, it’s just easier to log there while driving.
My IAT log is accurate; check your firmware or maybe ask Terry at Burger.
I’m in talks with them re: how they get IAT2, I’ll let you know what I find out.
I’m getting ready to test Injen air box open vs. closed on summer dragy runs.
@burgerking I’m delving into my JB4 more now to get this temp comparison logged. How do you mean “tricked”? Is the post IC temp labeled IAT, and POST IC temp is labeled something different (in the JB4 world?)
I did a quick search and didn't find out - does Forscan or Forscan Lite log these values? I know ProCal and other tuners do, my JB4 doesn't - and I don't have my laptop handy to log into & connect Forscan this week. Thanks!
@bfinger It's gotta be something easy - I am also in Houston and install/troubleshoot this kind of wiring on my Bronco all the time. If you need a helper or a second pair of eyes just message me and we can meet up someplace, I'll bring my electrical testers & tools if you need any.
I think you are taking air flow and boost in the wrong direction if you want fuel economy. But if it’s gas you need, why worry, I hear Qatar has plenty of it!
It’s a 20 degree ramp; I’m not saying copy it but there is a picture, details in their description, and everything needed for inspiration.
I used to work in Cameron, LA where the event is going to be. One suggestion is you get attendees or locals to build the thing at the event. Then raffle...
Finally a channel to more info for anyone interested, from an email exchange with someone higher up at ARB:
“
As Brennan mentioned, I am an ARB Representative and am managing our ARB Edition Broco program. I am happy to assist you with any questions. Please feel free to reach out via email or...
While moving at speed in some non-Offroad mode? No one seems to know. Even the CAN Opener guys who enable everything else in motion specifically disclaim this mod.
@5GENIDN “My biggest concern was twisting a tube”
That is good information - I never thought about torsional weakness. What is a trail situation that causes that tube to be stressed in that way, one-wheel lockup or something?
DV8, though both are good. I was down the rabbit hole on this a while back - bought both and returned or sold them. Each were too heavy duty for my needs (too much armor* based on where I normally hit), plus hard to fit/service with aftermarket coverplate. I went with this AEV that covered...
A few places are referenced on this thread. And I know the remaining 4WP Store in Dallas, they have done good work at that shop.
That @4x4TruckLEDs.com kit has the plug and play harness, so it would be easy for any reputable independent shop nearby that works on trucks / ATVs to do...
If there was a bundle for a good price, and incentive to add on a few other ARB goodies at time of install, someone could build a sick Bronco working with the right dealer.
But I just asked ARB USA and a big ARB dealer/installer I've used in Dallas. Both looked at the https://arbusa.com/bronco...
