I went with the SetPower PT35 on the recommendation of a friend. Got it for $229 during the Prime Day sale. So far I've only experimented with it sitting in the shop running off the DC adapter but it seems to work fine and appears to be well made. Cools from 70 to 35F in about 15 minutes and...
If you end up offering free shipping, could there be a discount for local pickup? Also, can the tray be used as a sliding tailgate if you don’t exceed the 300 lb limit? Thanks, very interested.
would this setup work for you?

I've considered it for my bike rack but haven't committed yet.
It remains to be seen if this version lives up to the LC heritage. But, in the past LCs were in a different league regardling quality and durability when compared to most all other vehicles. It's not uncommon for an LC to go half a million miles w/o any major issues.
I could see this replacing my 93 FJ80 in a few years but not my 2DR 7MT Bronco. Each vehicle has its own purpose and there is not much overlap. The FJ is great for overlanding and with F/R lockers a good trail rig. The Bronco wins in all other categories and is way much more fun to drive.
I got the trektop a couple of months ago shortly after taking delivery of my VB BD. Finally got around to installing it this past weekend. Happy so far.
I am concerned with longevity (one of the reasons why I bought an ESP). For me it's worth taking the risk and hoping Ford will eventually fix the issue.
My solution was to not enable carplay over wireless. So if I want carplay I must connect the USB cable (once connected though you can disconnect the cable and it keeps working). I don't understand why there would not be someway to toggle between carplay and home screen. For example, audio on/off...
I went ahead and got mine through granger because I was paranoid they might stop offering the $50 over cost deal. I had the 200k pass points from the mod top fiasco that helped.
I don’t like hearing this since I just purchased Grangers ESP over the weekend. What’s the good of a warranty if dealers can refuse to perform service? BTW my 2/21/23 built BD has earned the nickname “Grinder “.
If I purchase an ESP with my pass points and later cancel it, will I get any prorated money back? Just wondering because the FAQ states "Points are not refundable once redeemed". Thanks.
Except I really don't want them changing my oil. I had Ford change the oil in my F250 once and I had a hell of a time getting the filter off, practically destroyed it in the process.
