Nice! Glacier is on my short list now that I live a day's drive from there.
It just so happened mine got delivered right before Bronco Safari so why not straight from Granger to Hell's Revenge? 😁 That was almost exactly 2 years ago and Carvana will still give me more than I paid for it...
I could get behind a turbo inline 6, especially a diesel one like the early Bronco guy is swapping from a bimmer! The temporary open header on the 280zx turbo L6 I swapped into my Z car is still one of the sweetest things I've ever heard
My northerly neighbor from the sovereign nation of Canada has this right. I have a 5.0 in my truck and the Bronco 2.7L spanks it. A 5.0 would need a blower to compete but who wants a 2-door that has to fill up everyday and requires premium? Boy, it does sound good doing all that revving, though 🤠
Yeah, that almost has dent side 78/79 Bronco vibes.
I just hope they're discussing more heritage Sport models. Nothing drips with Bronco nostalgia quite like this beauty.
If you want to really nerd out, here are some calculators but the basic idea is the moment of inertia is proportional to the radius squared so, as you suggest, the tire tread mass hurts considerably more than the wheel mass does as far as acceleration and braking...

They're pretty crappy. Some are worse than others. These are from my 2021 even after sitting on dirt mountain for months to get a "better" top. That's a big delaminated bubble below the glass. If yours sounds like a window is cracked open, I'd look in these areas and add some weatherstripping.
I've always heard good things about Noco and I had Ford points to burn so I just ordered a couple of these from Ruxer. You'll have to message @flip if you want to use points and ask about B6G discount.

Nice trip! I'd love to explore some trails around there next time somebody is in the area. Was the smaller lake next to Picture Lake frozen over yet? It was a great sledding area in January.
The amount of snow up at Artist Point in early summer after they open the road is impressive.
