I've got a Heritage which has this grill:
I was thinking about putting the badge in the upper right corner of the grill. Do you think your technique would work on that?
I ordered this white Grill Badge for my Heritage:

There's a link on the page for the instructions. Does it look like you have to detach the entire grill to install it? If not, how have folks done it...
I'm getting ready to attend an offroad group trip to Moab. I would not be bringing my Bronco but rather I will be co-driving my friend's rig, a Jeep Rubicon. I am a novice off-roader and am tagging along to learn offroad skills and get some "seat time" on the trails. We will not be doing...
Thanks for the offer to help! I've got a great relationship with my local Ford dealer. I will send my tech photos and the comments and schedule a time for warranty repair. They are very responsive.

Thanks so much! So I zoomed in to the image and as far as I can tell, the actual bar and brackets do not seem to add any vertical height to the OEM roof rack. Is that right?
Thanks, I appreciate it. The version I am considering is the one that mounts to the top front of the OEM roof rack. Looks like you have the version that mounts to the top of the roof.
Thank you so much! If it's not too much trouble, would you mind posting a picture of the bar from the side so i can see how much the bar or the mounting brackets rise above the top of the OEM roof rack?
