First outing with the winch let to being used 6X. I didn't go to all the work of installing it to not use it. One of the benefits in my mind is that you can try much more challenging obstacles and routes. On alot of the off road park trails in the TX/AR area you can get a mile down a trail...
There is actually. Hammer built offroad has a similar setup for sale, and when combined with the Mishimoto intercooler it allows for the relocation of the ACC module.
I obviously prefer the hidden setup. To me there are too many compromises with the front mount, or the low mount hidden options (lobo and RC).

I think it is somewhere around 17.5" I used the Warn 9.0RC on my setup in the similar location. From what I have found the TM10K and the 9.0RC are the two name brand winches that fit.
While I do believe that some of you guys can reinstall the front doors in "<2 minutes". But I sure would like to see how. As a solo person installing, getting the top square hinge into the door typically takes me a stab or two while making sure I am not bumping door to fender.
I have always...
Yes. 16 front 18 rear.
I agree the front rate was higher than expected. The rear is right about what I figured. I am not totally sure my measured preload in the front. My rear is ¼” (just enough to keep the spring from allowing movement.).
My fender heights on stock 33” with 36psi is 39 ¾”...
The guide pin really helps. The rears on mine are cake and are as easy as everyone says. My front doors will occasionally be a pain to get on and take a stab or two to get lined up. For some reason it seems that I will get the top square pin halfway into the door and then catch on something.
The front access was one of the things that my (more complicated) hidden mount achieved. I can reach in the front opening to access the drum and clutch quite easily.
Yeah. Definitely doesn’t sound abused. I figure its either water in the fluid or some heat related issue. Do ya’ll have a custom exhaust that runs near by?
Have you run in 4A at all? I forget but what is your effective final drive? (diff * portal reduction).
What fluid did are you running?
Did this ever happen before the fluid change?
Makes me wonder if any water got in a vent or something in the T case. I would say you are probably...
I removed the shutters but kept the motors plugged in. Theyre just tucked and ziptied to my driver side skid mount. No issues and they still operate, thinking they are controlling something. Some have removed them and it does not throw a CEL, but will give a code if you plug in to obd2...
If I ever hit my skid hard enough to contact the winch, I have other issues. I assume the HB mount has similar clearance to the OEM skid. It would hit the oil cooler protector horns long before the winch plate made contact.
I had talked to Alex/HB about including the write up I did...
 I appreciate it. There are aspects about mine that I prefer, but mines honestly a bit of a pain for the first install. This one also keeps more room for the radiator, where I had to space my radiator up to get room. The inverted mount really allows for the most effective use of the...
