Yes, a kinetic (rope) strap can be used as a standard tow strap. Typically you want it shorter. You could take a 30 and double it up. Most of the trail straps are now short like 10 feet.
The worse part for me is mid afternoon and no traffic! This was before lane centering and the rumble strips on the right were better than a horn on the left. Going from San Antonio to Madison, I would hit KC around 1:00 pm and the next big city was Des Moines. That stretch was brutal for me...
We do Gilbert to Madison in two 13 hour days. Liberal KS is halfway for us. Typically head out to CO and UT to play, then down to AZ for family and then head back to home. My father drove from San Antonio TX to Sandusky OH several times a summer for 10 years up until he turned 92. It was...
I would drive as well. A very easy drive in my opinion. We typically drive from Madison to Silverthorne CO (1000 mi) in a single shot, then an easy drive the next morning to Moab. Now, I like to drive so there is that. I was driving 1300 miles in a day every 6 - 8 weeks for several years...
Zach, thanks for letting us know. Sorry to hear about his passing. He was very pleasant to deal with. He picked us up at the car rental place when we picked up or Heritage. He always sent a birthday wish.

I need to get one at some point. Kind of ridiculous to think one doesn’t come with the vehicle. How thick is it? I have one from a model T that’s pretty thin, maybe less than 1/8 thick and around 1/4 sheet size. Even one from a mid sixties Ford is relatively thin, but about the size of a...
Mine’s tilted so far back, it’s not even there! Also illegal here but all the city trucks have the exact same city monogrammed plate in the the front so atleast they have no leg to stand on.
I went to an off road event sponsored by Bronco Nation before they were making deliveries and when it came to picking your vehicle, they asked if anyone had a manual ordered. I was the only one. They gave me the 2 door Black Diamond with the MT to drive.
Ford only offers the Sasquatch package on the Outer Banks and Badlands trims on the Sport. They should have put the 2.0 engine on the Outer Banks as well. Adding Sasquatch on the Badlands for the Sport is similar to adding it to the full size, not much juice for the squeeze. Not saying it...
