Yes, it definitely changes the shift points and milage goes to crap. Been awhile since I towed with the Bronco, not sure if it lets you de-select tow mode because with a lighter trailer you don't really need it, it's just a waste of gas ;)
Also, if you use a wireless brake controller, I don't...
Even suspension wise as well. I think the weak link, as discussed many times on this forum, is the receiver. I warn again, don't tow over the 3500 lb limit. I currently tow an 8800lb GVWR trailer with a RAM 2500, about 50% capacity, and I can feel it so much more than towing with the Bronco at...
IMO the Bronco is highly underrated when it comes to towing. I towed a 3000-3500 lb camper once, and had no trouble passing on the PA turnpike when needed. Don't go over the 3500 rating for liability reasons, though.
As mentioned, try pulling first then see what you need. For instance, I tried...
Yes, I broke it out that way to keep my list organized by area. I checked and it looks like I ordered 3 packs of bolts. I might have too many, I still haven't installed the soft top yet, but having extra bolts never hurts when they're cheap.
My Auto won't let me shift out of park if it doesn't detect the FOB. Kind of useful if my wife drops me off at the airport and tries to drive away but I have the FOB ;)
Just curious, has any manual owner tried to drive away without the FOB in their pocket? I wonder if it lets you go, or if it...
Thanks all for the tips. I need to replace the passenger headlight and at $1700, I'd rather spend a bit less and get more. I'm leaning towards the Form lights because I like the looks best, and I just don't know when I'd really use the RGB except for showing the kids the first week and then I'd...
I'm sure they would be better than the Halogens, but are any of the RGB LEDs better than the OEM without blinding everyone? Thinking about switching, but if I'm going to sacrifice quality I'll stick with OEM.
For anybody that doesn’t want to go to Forscan route, you can probably measure the resistance on any terminals and put a resistor across the connectors to trick the computer into thinking the sway bar is still there.
This is a popular trick for disabling the skip shift on GM stick shift
What?!?! Nooooo they have so many problems!!! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go drive my Bronco in the rain and hope the wipers don't stop after 25 wipes :D
Edit: Congrats! Please post some pics! What color / trim?
LOL, Bronco owners hating on another manufacturer for reliability!
As for being a member of the wrong crowd, one of the best vehicles I ever owned but hated other owners that drove them was my '13 Mustang. Loved that car, can't stand Mustang owners.
My '19 JLUR and '20 Pacifica never gave...
Didn't read the thread, but I didn't know our tailgates were inflatable?!?! What PSI should they be, I haven't been checking... and why would I need a specific compressor?
Didn't read the whole thread, so sorry if it has been mentioned, but the ONLY reason for a class action lawsuit is to make the lawyers a ton of money.
They know they won't win, Ford knows they won't win, but For has bean counters figuring out how much the lawsuit is going to defend vs the...
I’ve been through more snow in mustangs and Camaros than I have in 4 x 4’s. Had a few times where I had to turn around because I couldn’t make it up the hill, and go find another way, but I can speak from experience that they all stop the same. And the 4 x 4 only turns slightly better. ;)
