I have a 4 rod Thule caddie. Really like it. Super convenient. I can stow rods up to 10' in it. If we are going over any rough passes fly rods go in their cases and get thrown in back.
I have guns that are in the same dollar ballpark as the Bronco. They get properly cased in cases that I...
Depends of expectations. As a former race tech being among my ski credentials credentials, and with 150 - 200 days on snow / year, my skis don't ride outside.
Studded Nokians. I have them on an S-series Audi. Bomber winter driver.
I've found that for really cold temps - like single digits either side of 0 degrees F, and ice, he Nokians rock. Perhaps due to their Northern latitude origins. In warmer, denser, slush they swim around a bit.
Based on the number of absolutely immaculate Broncos that I see parked in equally immaculate garages and driveways here, I think that most never got the memo.
A box is the way to go. Also watch REI warehouse sales. A lot of people “buy to rent” these boxes - they use them for a trip and return them. At one point the Seattle flagship store had racks of the, and liquidate them at warehouse sales.

I'm running 30 psi on a mix of maybe 50% gravel, 20% true off road, 30% pavement. 4 door base Sas with 2.7. Getting 21 + mpg. I don't notice a mileage difference at the manufacturer's recommended tire pressure. I do notice a harsher ride.
Not the entire story. If you are familiar with bicycle tire technology and physics you know that the trend is towards wider tires, and lower PSI. Look up hysteresis.
Your position on rolling resistance assumes a very flat, glass like surface.
