I had the full kit including the hood pieces. I used it for a year and grew to hate it so badly that I recently just balled it up and stuffed it into the trash. That felt good. I know folks say they like the kit, but for some reason, it was nothing but miserable to work with for me. I tried...
Yeah. It seems their engineering and customer service has take a massive nose dive since the recent expansions. The slider issues I faced had me embarrassed for them lol. Complete hackery. So sad. A decade ago I loved their products, and as much as Iād like this bull bar, between a few poor...
Yes. Thatās why I was pushed to use the method I did. If you follow their directions you end up losing full functionality because they were lazy. I suspect they are simply a re-seller of some Chinese manufacturer with zero technical capability of their own. Their product was intended (designed)...
My first thought was damn! Thatās some movie like quick thinkingā¦but then I thought, what if the guy in the van was smoking? That could have gone real bad real fast.
Theyāre not honest about their lead times because they know they wouldnāt get a considerable number of orders. So, they mislead their customers with lead times they know they canāt meet. For me, itās as simple as that. I donāt care how shiny or what the price is. Thatās just dishonest, and why I...
Great story. Thank you for sharing it. And thank you for putting in the extra effort to save the dog. Many wouldnāt have. Also, it seems we have similar bad luck. Reading about your various misfortunes I felt I was reading something I would have written lol. One damned thing after another lol...
Iām between the ARB or maybe this:

Like you, the bumper isnāt the challenge. Itās once adding the bumper it becomes a suspension issue, which likely will lead me to a wheel and tire decision⦠Iām just not ready to...
You can, but I find it to be too bit of a PITA to do so, so I tend to leave it on for extended periods. It easily takes me over an hour to install. Removal is probably slightly quicker, but not by much as cleaning it and putting it away properly in its bag (separate but necessary purchase in my...
Thanks Cole. Iāll reach back out when I have resources to dedicate to more troubleshooting. It will necessitate the removal of my Trailrax, which will obviously take another level of planning. I also need to figure out a water source at the rental for more expedient testing.
I assure you, youāre incorrect. If the water gets past the seal at the rear of the targa, thereās nowhere for it to go but either port or starboard. When it does it gets to the area where the latches areā¦and falls. On the seats. At least on my top. As for the front gutter, thereās an area near...
It holds and with the PacRax itās probably fine, but certainly itās not how it was designed/engineered. The rust is on the brackets of the trailrax around the bolt holes. Maybe hard to see in the pics. Not a TOR issue.
Between the angle of the bend, the width of the slot, and the depth of the pocket, that was the best I could do at the time. I even tried to remove those black aluminum plates hoping to get it deeper, but that was a waste of time. Donāt do that.
Ps. Notice the rust after two weeks being...
In fairness to TOR, weāve been trying to troubleshoot it but itās an intermittent problem. Iām not sure if itās volume of rain, truck orientation, latch sequencing, tension, gaskets, etc.
Purely specific use cases I didnāt consider prior to purchase. I bought a trailrax anticipating for some...
Iāve been dealing with leaks since I bought it. Iāve tried to work with Todd but weāre at the āweāve never seen that beforeā stage. If I tighten the back first, I get significant water in the passenger foot well. If I tighten the front clamps first, I get water in the headliner over the driver...
Donāt get me wrong, I donāt want to discourage anyone from learning and being self reliant. When I was younger, I couldnāt afford to pay for help so I learned to figure things out. Not always on the first try or without additional cost due to f-ups. But I always learned something. Now that Iām...
Iām not trying to be a dick, but if I understand your question correctly, you might want to seek some help installing this. The light will include instructions. This particular light wonāt be hooked into your upfitter system. It taps into both the power for your headlights and also the blinker...
I enjoy mine. Itās silly but it makes me smile every time I see it when I remote start the truck. Reminds me of Kitt from Night Rider. I would also recommend this adapter from SPV to tap in to instead of damaging the factory wiring. I tapped directly into the same wire path as though there...
