Yeah I’m in the market for a pop up or a frame so I got one and installed the 4 to 7/4 this morning. I routed the hot wire under and then the Curt echo brake controller powered and paired ok.
I had my preferred mechanic install the 4 pin ford package.
It appears to work.
@dgorsett
You said wireless brake —-does that mean you use the Curt Echo wireless brake controller with this set up? I planned to use that since I don’t want to run another wire up to my dash and mess around with it.
I had the dealer install the ford 4 pin and I bought the Curt 57672 to have...
It appears a logical solution is for your wife to get the Bronco Raptor and keep the GT350.
She wants a larger SUV. Get the Braptor for 6 months and then make a decision.
If she doesn't end up liking it and wants the Navigator, you then get to make the choice based on some experience with...
There was no sound. In city driving no issue because I’d be turning more and loosening it up. But after about 20 minutes on the highway it wouldn’t get exercised enough and locked up.
Part was replaced and no issues. Shop said water got in and bound up the joints.
Glad it was that and not...
Cooked by the turbo, interesting. Wonder if moisture moving in and out from the heat contribute to accelerated corrosion
I have the 2.3L. Motor.
The other side looks lighter in color.
I was able to turn the wheel lock to lock to free up, but then the binding came back after about 15 mins on...
Has anyone else had to replace a steering shaft at less than 75k mi? I heard that some models had a Recall / TSB but not the '22 base I own.
Found out the hard way that it was binding up on the highway causing an inability to easily shift lanes. Glad my wife wasn't driving, it was a...
Approaching 50 myself, if you camp in a treed area a hammock (or bear burrito) is amazing to sleep in. I have a warbonnet blackbird and tarp. They are pricey for what they are but made for lightweight backpacking. You can also get stands for the hammock I guess for areas without trees...
Using Carvana as a market indicator, the value for a 2023 Badlands with 16k miles is $52,000. Buying brand new for mid $50k seems pretty good, especially if it matches what you want.
If this is an extra vehicle for you, by all means wait and take a gamble. It might pay off. But you'll be...
I recently got a bit of blow through on the seals with all the wind so on a recent warm-up day I used silicone and greased up the seals. It stopped all but the >50 mph gusts and quieted the top a bit. The amount that I used may have been a little excessive as it accumulates on the top of the...
I live in upstate NY and salt is used on the roads perpetually in winter and own a MIC 2.0 hard top. I subscribe to an automatic car wash, and I park outside, primarily.
I've noticed there is some seal degradation over time in the top, and this is winter #3 .
I think there are three...
Nevermind, I found some photos and it was not what I expected. Not sure why we cannot have console vents. I might connect a duct to the underseat vent and route it to the console which is already boxed out for HVAC.
Vin Decoder said I have 'HVAC - inc. Underseat Ducts' in my '22 Base, which is news to me. I'm not planning to rip up my interior in the middle of winter, but has anyone else discovered these installed? If I find this I might 3D print some registers and install them into my center console...
