It does amuse me a bit that people get worked up about the ASS. Let's face it Ford first started using the technology in 2012 model year on cars and SUV's. It is not like the technology is new or unproven-- and yes it has proven to save fuel. Additionally there were other changes were made...
Here is a shot of me at the mall--this store specializes in wild blue berries and raspberries. A couple more shots of me driving to the meat store where they specialize in deer and partridge
There's a reason Fords top tow package in the F-150 has a 3.5 ecoboost and not a 5.0 coyote Not that the 5.0 is bad--and old school thoughts of "no replacing cubic inches" is not good in theory but the benefits of the V-6 in daily driving will eventually cause the demise of the V-8...
Pavement ends in 17 miles north of me--from there there are thousands of miles of dirt, logging, and old but passable roads. So no I do not see a lot of tar time in mine. I have had the bronco since May but I bought it to replace my 13 Rubicon. Based on the Rubicon history--I had about 55k on...
Coming from a 13 2 door Rubicon to the 24 Everglades that I have had since May. I have roughly 8000 miles on it with about 6K off road and on logging roads. As with the Rubicon I primarily use it off road-- things I have learned.
Some of my experiences could be 2 door vs 4 door in the...
I always thought that the "MT" on the stock tires stood for "Minimal Traction" that's why my Everglades never left the dealer until they swapped them out for a set of Cooper STT Pros. Funny but even the dealer didn't want them--only gave me $300 dollar credit towards the Coopers.
I looked it up on the Ford Website and the 25 badlands lists as HOSS 2 standard-- now maybe they have made a change since the online build came out --. It could also have to due with the various build scenarios and configurations where it may also be standard
I looked it up on the Ford...
I thought the HOSS 3 steering rack was only avail on the 24 and 25 with the SAS package and on the 25 Badlands you can get the HOSS 3 package only with the SAS package which gives entire HOSS package with the Fox shocks. If my understanding is correct it makes the SAS package a viable option
4A is suited for pavement and light off use offroading. Personally I rarely use it since I know when I do and when I don't need to be in 4WD- about the only time I find it handy is when there is 2 or 3 inches of slush on the road --after a storm. Since 80% of my miles are off road the...
I am warming up to them-- definitely noticeable as compared to the 2 door Rubicon. No choice for me though --wished they made the Everglades in a 2 door 2.7-- but you get what they got
