I totally agree, it’s a lot. I would’ve done it myself, but I wanted to keep the warranty since I only have about 1600 miles on the car.

Got mine installed today after the dealer that I initially ordered the part to (via Ford Accessories) refused to do it. Labor was pretty steep though at $460 for 2 hours. I’m in the Austin area, and the dealer that installed it was Covert Ford for anyone else who is looking to get this done...

Looks like an awesome trip! It was great meeting you at the Off-Roadeo in Austin last weekend. This post has definitely inspired me to make a similar trip in the near future.
