when I left Kalifornia 30 years ago the registration fees were based on the sales price of the car. Is rhat still the case?
in Orygun, it has gone from $20/year to $98/year (but paid bi-annually so it is $196 every 2 years) plus a $25 DEQ fee.
Regardless of the price of the vehicle. A Porsche...
Awesome setup... for a mall crawler :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: curbs are just guidelines for you! (nothing against mall crawling either, but that is some serious hardware if you never get out of the city )
So much easier to post the most used mods:
1. IAG side steps (use every time I get into the Bronco)
2. Paracord grab handles (use every time also)
3. AR SLAP/BAM system (put my iphone on it every time I drive)
Honorable mention: They didn't make the top 3 because I don't use them everyday, but...
The price was irrelevant. It was the fear of not being able to get gas when you needed it that drove behavior, not the price. The poor MPG of cars at the time made that behavior worse, and coincidentally what really jump-started the Japanese car market in the US. Their cars got 2x the MPG of the...
It wasn't the amount of gas, but the fact that you could only buy gas every other day based on the last digit of your license plate (this was in CA and at the time license plate number ended in 3 digits). Odd number, you can buy gas on odd-numbered days. Vice-versa for even numbers as the last...
Well, considering I never even thought of asking for it before (and have never replaced a windshield before my Bronco), I guess I am finally getting the "full benefit" of my insurance by getting me deductible reduced from $500 to $0 and it raised my 6 month premium by less than $20.
So I guess...
Why is your tach rotated -150*? (not actually sure it is a tach since it goes to 100 or 10K RPM, and it is currently at 7000rpm indicated, so if it is a tach, maybe the dial rotated, but the needle position is accurate to a non-rotated tach?)
2004 BMW 330i. And I still have it. Will be 21 years old in a few months and it still runs great. 173k miles with the original clutch. The last mainly hydro-mechanical 3-series BMW made. All the newer models have drive-by-wire electronics in them (like the Bronco) that IMHO take away the...
Too late for you now, but I changed my insurance to $0 deductible on collision. It raised my 6 month rate less than $20. But I am also an old fart with a good driving record.
So when my windshield cracked last year, all it took was one call to State Farm, they put me in touch with their...
Was going through my Reddit feed today and a guy posted pictures of his new 2025 bronco and one of the photos he posted showed YouTube playing in his infotainment system.
I did not know this was possible.
Trying to figure out if this is retroactive to pre-2025 models or not.
Great review.
I have the base audio system in my 22 Badlands (or whatever came in the High package offered at the time). To me, the sound is good enough to my 60 year old ears.
BUT
I am totally open to upgrading the speakers when the factory ones go out. And the only reason I say this is I...
