Sorry to highjack: does anyone know if you can mount the license plate bracket to the bumper itself? I don’t like the look of having it on the spare tire.

Kind of a long shot: Does anyone here have the Rough Country Tubular rear bumper? And if so, do you know if it’s possible to mount the license plate bracket *to the bumper* and not on the spare? (I hate the look of the plate on the spare)

I saw my first 4Runner in the wild today, and it was ... ugly. I had to check the badging to make sure it wasn't a new Rav4 trim that I wasn't aware of. Granted, it was not the Trailhunter or TRD Pro trim, but it looked like a major downgrade from the previous generation IMO (which I always liked)

It's funny because I just saw one the other day, and I thought ... "man that looks like ass. I wonder what it looked like in promotional photos when it was new." And it's better here, to be sure, but still ass.

This tracks with what you see on the road. I used to “know” all the broncos in my town of 75k. Now I see more than I can count (and I’m a math guy)

The price on this can't be beat, and it's what they use for the Braptor, which has 37s ... so this seems like a no-brainer purchase if you're in the market, IMO.

Thank you. It looks like the link in the OP there is now directed to the sinister bronze bucking bronco logo ... so maybe the hinge setup is still unavailable. I'll contact my parts guy at the dealership to see what he can do.

Trying again ... just hoping someone knows a part number or suggestion, if there's any way to use Ford points to beef up my hinges / tailgate.

I’ve added 37s to my Wildtrak, and I have these 126,000 ford pass points that will expire in July. So I’m thinking: can I buy an OEM Raptor tire carrier / hinge system through Ford and use points? Has anyone tried this? Or can anyone at least provide me the part number(s) for that Braptor...
