What gauge wire from battery to bus bars?
Also do you know what the max length of these wires should be?
I flat tow my Bronco and the area you mounted your bus bars is not available to me as it has an air tank that is used to engage the braking for being towed. I'm going to have to...
Thanks for sending the link. Right now all the various add ons to the pos 12V side of the battery all have their own inline fuses. They have a variety of amps from a low of 5 up to 60 for one of my audio amps. So for now I guess I'll still stack the rings onto the Ford bus bar but space does get...
I understand the limitations for amp draw on the battery. I have been reading on a few automotive sites for 12V electrical that "stacking" can create issues. I'd have to find those sites again but I thought it had to do with resistance. Here is just one of many that I found searching online...
I tried the search function but came up empty. Not sure I'm using the best search words.
I have multiple connections made to the positive terminal (bus) for multiple amplifiers, lighting, battery tender for when it is flat towed, as well as trailer tow lighting harness. As a result I'm stacking...
So I have replaced the dash, kick panel, and pod speakers with Hertz (pods were replaced with the SSV pods and 6" Hertz). I had the fake sub & amplifier from Ford so installed an 8' round Kicker sub inside a new enclosure from from Gearshade. I could have stayed with the plastic sub enclosure...
I have the Trailrax roof rack installed using all 7 crossbars, as well as the Heretic Studio light bar.
Pros:
Solid rack
Looks good
Addition of the lightbar looks good and delivers excellent lighting
Cons:
Edges of the rack chip quite easily. I'm not sure how well it will hold up to heavy use...
Specific to the Standard Plastic Bumper Only
I'm looking for photos of where/how you installed the connectors for (Air line, 7 pin, Breakaway switch) at the front of the Bronco with this bumper. I have a 2023 Outerbanks.
We have about two more weeks before we get our Super C RV with air...
Pretty much above my skill set what you are asking. I pretty much search in this forum or ask questions and go by who I think knows what I am trying to do.
Search threads by member grtharris, I've read some of his posts and he seems to really know what he is doing. He did the diode install...
I read the instructions multiple times without seeing the mention of connecting black to the battery. Read it one more time and found it in the images of the wiring not the written content.
I went ahead and ran the wire from battery down the underside of the frame to the module at the back...
Thanks for responding and sharing the pics, Very helpful. Our Nexus Ghost Super C is just starting to be built at the factory. I'll give them a call to be sure I know if the RV is a separate or combined lighting system so I know how to splice in the diodes. Did you simply use butt connectors...
I STARTED A THREAD WITH THE FOLLOWING INFO/QUESTIONS AND NO REPLIES. SINCE THIS THREAD WAS DISCUSSING THE CURT PLUG & PLAY I THOUGHT I WOULD REPOST HERE HOPING SOMEONE MAY HAVE INSIGHT INTO MY QUESTIONS....

I will be flat towing my Outerbanks behind a 2023 Nexus Ghost Super C motorhome. I need to wire in a 4pin flat connector for when I tow a small cargo trailer behind the Bronco. I also need to set up the Bronco tail lights to function with the motorhome when being flat towed. I have already...
Looking for the actual Ford paint code for the Area 51 color. I've searched but am getting conflicting numbers. I am having paint done on RV to match and will need to provide to the RV mfg. I looked at the sticker inside the door but it doesn't seem to be there.
Those were the wireless lights I am considering.
I think the charger you listed is not what I was asking about. I wondered if I need a charge lead from motorhome to my Bronco being flat towed behind. My supplemental brake system does not require it but I'm thinking the Bronco itself may need a...
Haven't selected one yet, however will most likely look at Amazon for one with 5* reviews. I know others on the forum have mentioned a couple but can't recall which ones without searching.
Very helpful, & thanks. I have been staying up to date on your thread re: Electronic brake issue, any updates from Ford?
Thinking I'll go ahead and set up with a charge line just in case.
Sorry for limited knowledge on how to do that but, does that use the 7 pin on the back of the motorhome. If...
