Mine is noticeably quieter at startup for sure. These 2.7s are noisy so any improvement sounds significant.

Anyone else feel an improvement in their 2.7 after the first oil change? Mine seems to be running smoother and MPG seems to be up slightly… Could be a placebo effect.

Biggest pet peeve regarding hardware cheapness/ poor fitment... weird place to save $10 and leave the buyer with an unnecessarily diminished view of your product.

Don’t have a good comparison as this was the first time using it on the Bronco. I’ve had success with PTFE lubes before though so it seemed worth a shot. We’ll see.

It was new to me when I first bought the convertible years ago. It’s not a grease or even a lube. It’s a legit conditioner that keeps the seals pliable. It gets absorbed into the seals and lasts for years (in my experience).

Yes. I did use the Gummi Flege conditioner first. Crazy durable stuff I use on my BMW convertible seals.

Got the rear MIC squeaks as temps hit low 30s for the first time. Liberal application of Super Lube and hopefully good until spring. Those high pitched squeaks were surprisingly annoying.

I want a rear half rack with a Gobi-style basket that fits on the four door model.

If it makes you feel better- the discount on the SS3 pods wasn’t that much. They run sales about 6 times a year.

Are the wires measured and cut specific to length as well?

Mostly just way too much cable so I have a huge coil of leftover- unneeded cable. The @Diode Dynamics wiring harness runs everything through a relay and also has separate power and ground lines in addition to the leads for the aux switches. Unfortunately, they provide a pigtail on the big ass...

Where and how to I cut the DD factory wiring harness when I’m using the factory aux switches? There is an excessive amount of wire and I don’t need the aftermarket switch. So. Much. Extra. Wire.
