Okay I'm so glad they found a solution. Was in the same boat with my Raptor and the install. Waiting for a call back from the owner. I was thinking of removing those rubber/plastic cylinder spacers, is the angle grinder the only way it fully works?

I've installed the side brackets for the eztrunk in my raptor bronco but the main component doesn't seem to want to flip with the rear raptor brace. Has this been tested to be able to fold upright with a raptor?

How's the noise? Any rattling at all when folded down or when it's locked into place that you've noticed?

It's one of the only gripes I have is that the lights will shut off after 7mph when I hit the buttons for the side-mirror lights on my Badlands. I'd love to have them on when driving over 7mph on a empty road or offroad at night.

Trying to make it more like a truck bed/safari top so I can easily drop the top as needed/keep everything pretty closed up for if the weather gets weird or for parking overnight.

I'm super stoked for this. As someone who has the SMS Exposed Rack, I love it and use it for my kayak constantly but wish so badly to have a roof tent that I can use without have the top down for the drive out of town.

From my experience with it, I only use it for my kayak but they are SOLID metal, I'm pretty confident I can jump on these things and they'd not even flinch. I would be curious though for like a rooftop tent or something what the weight bearing is.

I'm not sure about the Ford Specific Bimini top as I know they have a bar that crosses the center of the vehicle but I have the Gearshade Bimini top and it works fine.

Yes and it's fine, pretty loud, a drive from Jersey to OBX would probably not be the funnest with the top down in all honesty. I live only 2 hours from OBX and I'd probably not do that myself 😂 haha

The "click-in" allows you to add accessories they have on their site like kayak holders and other things. I got it just in case but really I just throw my kayak on there and strap it down no issues!

Yes it closes right over the racks! You can't even tell they're there with it closed.

Just installed them today over my Bimini top, 30 minute install, and everything fits under the soft top! I love it.
