I’ve been going on the Ford inventory search site and you see the Green “Special Order” stickers all over the place. The thing that upsets me are all of the “Dealer Ordered” blue window stickers. The dealers are getting theirs, marking them up $5k, $10k and more while we sit here getting...
I'm sure more of us would "want" one more if we actually had a regular Bronco to drive first. Most people want something bigger and badder, but when my Badlands order seems like a pipe dream, how am I supposed to get excited about something like this? I have a better chance of seeing Jesus...
If they get $2500 each and someone backs out, now they have your $2500 plus the $5000+ they can add on to the model you backed out of. Win win for them. Typical dealership BS.
I'm in the same boat. I live outside of Boston and have a cottage in NH. I'll be doing a trail here and there, but when it comes down to it, it's a daily driver for me. The Badlands is listed as "Extreme Off-Roading" I have done about 100 Builds and it comes down to the OBX and Badlands...
I was going back and forth tof and ended up on the OBX. The OBX build was $50,840 and the Badlands was $50,820.
The advantage to the OBX (I won’t be doing that much off-roading) is you get the Lux Package, bigger rims, not tires, Leather, side steps, automatic, remote start,, etc. for the...
Everything is so over regulated now. Companies always test these things out and cut the max way back. If a ladder says 200 lbs, it’s good for 300. I think how much I’ve put in my Thule boxes, both roof and hitch over the past 10 years and know how much I’ve been over. Never an issue.
Like others...
I must have done 50 different builds. When the Bronco was announced I was all in on the Black Diamond 2 door manual. Now after obsessing over it all I keep going back to the OBX. I’m 50 and have always gotten the new vehicle for my wife. I’m in a place where now it’s my turn. I do a lot of...
I love the Roast/Black Onyx Leather but the additional $2195 is making me second guess myself because I am considering upgrading to the LUX Package. The cloth has me scared. I watched the 'Interior Materials' video and they said the cloth for the OBX was a throwback to the old days. You all...
I WANT a 2 dr, manual BD, but you can’t get a Mid Package in manual. So I decided to go to the 4 door OBX (changing out the fender flares) because I need the extra space. 2 door doesn’t have enough cargo space as the 5G Bronco did.
I could have swore that someone sad that they will all have the same floors and you’d have to remove the carpet and take out the permanent plug for a removable one. One question is what will the finish on the floor under the carpet look like?
