Black and red wire are from the USB port. You will need to go down and remove the glovebox. The owners manual - in the dash screen goes over the power from the Aux switches from the overhead console. you will need to hook up power under the hood - to provide power to the wires behind the dash.
The versions you posted require the area underneath the hole to be clear. Since there are wires etc under this area on the Bronco. I went with the flush mount. IE nothing but the wires protrude down into the dash. I have a variant like you posted that I will wire into the center console armrest.
I just added the USB port. I hooked it into accessory switch 6. Heated up a pick to melt the holes for the 2 screws. Drilled a hole for the wire - used a hanger to find a path over behind the glovebox. Then pulled the wires up to the dash.
This is a great solution. Since the unit is flush. You only need to drill holes for the Wires. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B091CSCH6M/ref=sw_img_1?smid=ADASGHHKPU5IB&th=1
