Not sure if anybody has posted it yet but there is a TSB/SSM now:
SSM 52278 2021-2023 Bronco - Front Axle Pinion Seal Leak - Built On Or Before 09-Jul-2023
Some 2021-2023 Bronco (non-Raptor) vehicles built on or before 09-Jul-2023 may exhibit a fluid leak from the front drive axle...
Just a word of caution...the EBB update to allow you to tow without pulling fuses isn't 100% reliable. I've had two brake lockups after dealer confirmed I have the update. Few probably flat tow as much as we do so maybe a rare case where a cosmic particle flips a bit in the software somewhere...
LOL. Sold the 2016 SS Camaro with black metallic paint for the WT Bronco. Camaro was gorgeous, fast, and sounded awesome. But needed a vehicle that I could haul kids, flat tow, and be overkill for some light off-roading in national parks etc. Now I have a brick that is slow and sounds like...
I daily about 150 miles a day in a SAS Wildtrack hard top on the interstate between Colorado Springs and Denver. It's definitely a bounce house on wheels but laughs at pot holes and no trouble navigating traffic at 80mph - RPMS aren't much above 2k which is normal for a tiny turbo V6. Plush...
I just used power from the 7 pin umbelical. There’s a voltage drop from tow vehicle to bronco that sometimes means you need a 12v dc to dc charger (basically boost voltage at bronco to a float charge voltage) if you want to charge to 100% reliably. It wasn’t needed in my case since the load is...
I can confirm the experiences here. Even with the "sleep mode" Fords have the battery seems to die after several days...but that is typical for newer cars with always on computers sending your secrets to Ford etc. Had a 2016 Camaro that died after a week. Note that lead acid is permanently...
I turned off updates and pulled fuse 20 on mine (phone home module). Likely an Oct 2023 update broke my 360 cameras and took almost 3 months of parts swaps to get it to work (Every camera/cable, impa, impb, apim etc) . Ford corporate/engineering was involved. If everything works...no reason...
I put the full steel RCI plate set on my Wildtrak. Seem to be holding up well to the salt they bathe I-25 in Colorado with all the time. Can't say I noticed much if any difference due to weight but the Bronco was already a slow heavy brick. I still average 20-21 MPG in the semi-hilly front...
Dealership and service is an oxymoron. I only use them for warranty service and only if parts are needed (like my broken 360 camera). Dollars and time ahead to do it yourself. The most annoying aspect of dealer service is having an appointment and they might get to it several days later or...
I experience the sway issues mentioned but really only during a sudden direction changes on curvy mountain roads. My setup isn't recommended by any manufacturer. I'm pretty sure the weight ratio between the dually and bronco coupled with the distance from the rear axle to the hitch is the main...
Flat tow my 2022 with the 2.7 (electric brake booster). Around 2k miles so far. Dealer confirmed I have the flat tow update and the errors about pre collision assist etc come up when putting into flat tow so i know it is turning off ebb. I keep bronco on a charger when stopped overnight and...
