Update:
After talks with the dealership and the Ford help center, we have a resolution, I think.
The bronco was determined to be unsafe to drive, and Ford agreed to reimburse me for the repairs. They overnighted the parts, and it was fixed the next day.
When I picked it up, the service writer...
No leaking that I saw. I drive the same route daily to work. The other day coming down a particularly rough hill, it felt like the rear end was coming off the ground. Our roads suck, so I never take that hill too fast anyway. I ended up going about 10mph to keep it from completely going crazy...
Iāve considered the Eibach Pro 2.0. Perhaps the Bilstein 6112 should be considered too. Changing them myself is easy. Been working on cars forever.
Just not happy with a suggested 1500.00 bill for something theyāll replace even if theyāre not bad, when the time comes.
We have two broncos, and...
Sadly, itās absolutely not drivable. Itās all over the road, and bumps nearly send it into the ditch. Never seen bad struts this ābad,ā and basically happened overnight.
Recalls wonāt start until 3rd quarter.
My old 94 Ram is back on duty.
So, my 21 Badlands started bouncing like crazy, literally overnight. Took it in for inspection, assuming it was the recall issue. They said itās not, and not covered.
1500.00 in parts alone. Eff that.
55k miles of street driving, and the struts go bad. lol.
Guess Iām trading it in.
I have the same seat rattle. It sucks. I also have the tire jack kit making a ton of noise in the back. Despite packing the compartment with rubber pieces and rags.
My wifeās two door base doesnāt make a sound. My badlands sound like a tin can full of bolts.
last email I received on my 2021, confirmed on 7/7/21, was that it was changed to a 2022. Itās a 2 door base without a single option besides the 10 speed. Iām also guessing Iāll end up a 2023.
word in the news is even more chip related delays due to shutdowns/lockdowns in China.
Someone will be along shortly to remind you about covid. Or some other supply line issue. The roll out has been weak. It has nothing to do with thise building them, so you Ford workers just relax. We arenāt blaming you.
But you higher ups, yes, we are looking at you.
Thats exactly what we did. Ended up with being able to put half down on our Loaded Badlands. Hated the wait, but putting half down did feel pretty good. 1.8% after that.
Now putting cash in the bank for the Base I ordered in June.
