  1. New York M220 rear axle (no gears)

You’re over a 6 hour drive from me. But Id offer you $200. I’d come and pick it up
  2. Factory OEM axles vs. Ford Performance axles

Yes I’m replacing the M190 with a locking FP M210. Which is why I needed the axles. It’s not worth upgrading the M190
  3. Factory OEM axles vs. Ford Performance axles

Also if you think your FP axle stub looks different. It’s bc I turned the lip off mine down with my lathe. I thought that’s what was preventing full insertion. Before I had the Ford axle of course. I tried resolving that issue with FP including another larger issue with my axle upgrade. I’ve...
  4. Factory OEM axles vs. Ford Performance axles

I bought the FP axles for a M210 upgrade from the M190. The FP drivers axle was too long. The stub that goes into the unit was almost 1/2 inch longer than the Ford unit. Not sure if it would cause issues or not as the splines still inserted. The outer seal protector plate wouldn’t do its job and...
  5. Reusing pinion gear

I have the tools because I have a lathe and Mill at home. Vehicles aren’t my only hobby. The Ford Performance rebuild kid comes with two crush washers but using the old one for setup seems like a decent idea. I’m still not 100% I will be doing the install myself since it’s my only vehicle at the...
  6. Reusing pinion gear

Thanks all, I thought I replied to this after the first couple of replies but it never posted. Looks like I’ll be using all the parts in my rebuild kit. Including the second crush sleeve when I’m not happy with it the first time lol
  7. Reusing pinion gear

So let me start this out as I’m adding an air locker to my 2.3 manual base. I have a ford racing pinion and ring gear, rear end rebuild kit, arb locker and onboard air to install. I have 4.46 gears and intend to keep the same gearing so don’t try to convince me to regear. I have 2500 miles only...
  8. What are the Amazon prime day deals you are looking for.

I have one for my 2 Door. Mesh is good quality, the loops where tie downs go through bend easily but it’s still a metal reinforced hole in the mesh. There’s even a zipper to latch the rear of the front panels which works great. Overall I love it, money well spent
  9. The Future of the 2-Door Bronco?

Like many have said I wouldn’t have a Bronco if the 2 Door or manual weren’t an option. My 2 Door manual base is my dream vehicle with accessories required. My only wish was for the manual paired with the larger V6 but the 2.3L is just awesome once I drove it. Also the sparse amount of marketing...
  10. Interior Sound Level Decibels Test -- Soft Top vs. Hard Top vs. No Top

My thoughts exactly, I’m putting wood flooring in a couple bedrooms in my house. Once the carpet is up it echos a ton. The same can be said for the hard top and soft tops. The hard top sound deadening is just absorbing. Just like the soft top is probably absorbing sound also. The biggest...
