  1. Ford’s Goal in showing all the stuff “we can’t have”...

I agree. Another thing is, it's hard to say when some of that aftermarket stuff shows up. It could be a few years.
  2. Wildtrak Race Red 4 Door Bronco w/ Soft Top Down & Keyless Entry Keypad

That's why I want tube steps on my 2Dr. It will be nice to step on while washing and provides protection against people opening their doors too much in tight parking spaces. I really like the look of this Bronco. The nice thing about soft tops is they can be pulled back for a total open-air...
  3. Your Build: Pre and Post B&P

Doors and Trim: 2DR. Big Bend Color: Iconic silver/Cactus Gray Engine and Transmission: 2.3L 7 Speed. Roof: (Shadow Black Modular maybe.) Sasquatch: (no) Packages: (mid.) Interior: (cloth) Options: (Aux switches, rear locker, tube steps) DIO: (tailgate table thing, pod lights maybe, dash...
  4. Ground clearance

I'm going off on a tangent, but all this Bronco hype and Jeep comparisons are interesting. It's reminding me of another Ford vehicle that I owned that was hyped and compared to something else I owned in the same car market. I owned a Focus RS and previously owned an EVO X. Today I would choose...
  5. Anyone else just want a basic bronco

This is what's troubled me about the Base model. I had a used low-mileage Wrangler sport with bigger tires and more ground clearance than a Base Bronco that I paid 23K for. It was also trail rated, if that means anything. We're not sure what the Base Bronco can do really, just a bunch of hype...
  6. Ground clearance

That's interesting. I knew the tires made most of the difference, it's one of the reasons I want to stick with the BB. I didn't know the Jeep would still be a bit more, I assume this is just by design.
  7. Ground clearance

I had a base (sport) Wrangler, and while it may not sit that tall for some; it had a lot more ground clearance from what I was used to. The stock Jeep ground clearance is higher than the Base Bronco from what I've read.
  8. 200 Factory-Backed Accessories

I've looked at the Ranger B&P and if it's anything like that it will be nice. I know they most-likey will have all camping stuff, but I hope they have the dash cam accessory that the Ranger has. I don't really want a whole lot, just a few things I've seen in the demos, and maybe some stuff...
  9. Stephens Auto "Roll-Call"

Reserved: 7/16 Big Bend Switched to Stephens almost a couple of weeks ago. I haven't talked to anyone personally on the phone, but the communication from them has been excellent.
  10. Base Model Rear Locking Differential

The previous poster before described it best IMO. I had the same thoughts as you until I looked it up, and read about it. All wheels would be driven - in a 4WD automobile when engaged - on a surface with equal traction. It is in fact 4WD on the base. Having said that, with an open diff; it...
  11. Main reason you purchasing the Bronco? (POLL)

I chose other. If the Bronco hadn't been released again, I for sure would have bought another Jeep, because I regretted getting rid of my the one I had. I've always liked the Bronco, all the models; but wasn't sure when this latest version would come out. Once I saw the video release of this...
  12. Here’s Antimatter Blue on a Bronco Big Bend 2-Door with MIC top

The color doesn't bother me since it wasn't my choice anyway. I'm just happy to see a BB 2DR. I'm pretty sure this is the one I'm going with now.
  13. Big Bend Bronco Thread

Nice! Now if we can just get some pics of the 2Dr.
  14. Big Bend Bronco Thread

From what I've learned thus far, I'm pretty sure that this is the trim I'm sticking with. 2.3L manual, modular roof, aux switches, rear locker, step bar, and whatever accessories I might want to add.
  15. Base Model Bronco Thread 🐎

This video was very helpful for me.
  16. Bronco Overland Concept Revealed! With Live Debut Video & Pics From Super Celebration East

That's a question I've been wanting to ask, but get lost reading these long interesting threads, talking about all kinds of other stuff.
  17. Bronco Overland Concept Revealed! With Live Debut Video & Pics From Super Celebration East

Wow, I don't have time to read this whole thread. I'll just say I'm back on the Area 51 train! I don't care if I'll have two cars with unusual colors. Really nice setup, and I'm really temped by that Sasquatch package now.
  18. Received this from my dealer today .

They seem cool. Early in the process I was seriously considering switching to them before the Granger and Stephens deals came about.
  19. Hardcore base off-road build

I also agree that getting a used Jeep would be better. However if you just like the looks of the Bronco, want something really hardcore, and have the money to to it, I'd say go for it. It's not something I'd do, but I won't be a hardcore off-roader. I've watched 4runners that had a IFS that...
  20. New preproduction Broncos off the line: Area 51, Cyber Orange, Rapid Red, Iconic Silver, Race Red, Soft Top

Interesting, I've been thinking about choosing that combination now.
