  2. Whistle sound coming from grille / hood on some Big Bend and Outer Banks Broncos. Improved hood seal design coming October

So THAT'S where the whistle is coming from. Regardless of top up or down. I have a whistle not emanating from the mirrors. Glad they figured it out.
  3. My first bona-fide Bronco road trip! Trekking cross-country for the Off-rodeo in Austin

My boys are jealous! My oldest is 15 and has done so much with me I wanted to spread the love so-to-speak. My other son is 9 so is too young. My wife is working, so my daughter won by default! It is awesome!
  4. My first bona-fide Bronco road trip! Trekking cross-country for the Off-rodeo in Austin

My 13-year-old daughter and I are trekking cross-country for the Off-rodeo in Austin. We are booked for Thursday-Friday, but we began in Middle Tennessee. The cargo area is downright cavernous with the seats down. We laid over in Dyersburg with a friend, then off Monday morning. Before we...
  5. Daily driving your delivered Bronco?

Like the poster above said, 4 dr BB with rear locker and 2.7. Also will add I upgraded to 33's.
  6. Daily driving your delivered Bronco?

I have a relatively short commute, but have several jobs lol. So I essentially make a circuit of 15 minutes one way, 10 minutes another, then back, then 15 minutes home. I may travel 50+ miles in a day when school is in session. Probably a tank to a tank and a half per week, so $50-75 in fuel...
  7. Installed a MONSTER Lift on my Jeep!!!!

Ground clearance still isn't very good though... Good luck with the mechanical issues!
  8. Video of startup error message w/ doors off

They are conveniently automatic lol. And I imagine that sticker is for the lawyers.
  9. Video of startup error message w/ doors off

Could be. But why not say that? Instead, a bunch of random warnings about the brake system?
  10. "GET UNHINGED" easter egg discovered

Awesome! Just went out to see it on mine! But remember: 😂
  11. Video of startup error message w/ doors off

I realize that. :)But I thought maybe this was worthy of another post.
  12. Video of startup error message w/ doors off

This is an update to this thread, so feel free to merge them, but I thought this might warrant another thread. The service center told me to video startup issues, and as I thought it was related to the doors off, I took a video as I started my Bronco this morning with no doors. Here is the...
  13. A First Oil Change Experience on 2021 Bronco – Using OEM Oil Filter

Yup. Standard on BB. Going to upgrade as soon as I can sneak it past, um, get the ok from the wife. 😂
  14. 4WP Leveling Kit for 2021 Bronco is here!

If you upgrade to the rear locker in the BB as I did, you would have 4.27 gears. The issue wouldn't so much be the gears as the front unit itself--the lighter duty 190 vs. the 210 in the Sasquatch. That said, moderate use would be fine for 35's IMO. It's heavily debated here though.
  15. A First Oil Change Experience on 2021 Bronco – Using OEM Oil Filter

Thanks for the input ;) Here's the deal: 1. I always bring tools when I camp. 2. Lots of downtime and an O'Reilly 5 minutes away. 3. Some had said it might be good to do, and since my kids are already fighting over the Bronco when I die, I figure I need to take care of it. 4. I wanted...
  16. A First Oil Change Experience on 2021 Bronco – Using OEM Oil Filter

Believe me...I was not happy about it. But I was camping and had my socket set, but none of my other assorted sockets, including the ones over 1". So I grinned and bore it this time. I will designate a special socket for the filter housing next time.
  17. A First Oil Change Experience on 2021 Bronco – Using OEM Oil Filter

@Administrator Could you change the title? I DID in fact use an OEM filter. It seems they do not *always* have the black caps on them.
  18. A First Oil Change Experience on 2021 Bronco – Using OEM Oil Filter

I got an OEM Motorcraft 2062 a. But it didn't have the black plastic caps at either end of the filter as shown here: the new filter is laying down while the old is standing up. Note the black plastic cap facing the camera on the old one vs the bare ends of the new.
  19. A First Oil Change Experience on 2021 Bronco – Using OEM Oil Filter

Different colors would have been fine. But there were no caps on the new filter.
  20. A First Oil Change Experience on 2021 Bronco – Using OEM Oil Filter

I have around 1600 miles on my Big Bend 2.7. I decided to change the oil ASAP after my 1000-mile breakin. We have been camping, and this is the first chance I've gotten. This video from another thread is a good reference: I had trouble getting a filter...you can't just walk in to O'Reilly and...
