  1. [Updated With Outcome in Part 2 Video] Dealer marks up former employee's Bronco by $10k

I hope that is not their plan, if so likely to be very disappointed. YT videos pay about$5 per 1000 views and so far those two videos have about 13,000 views (ie $65)
  2. [Updated With Outcome in Part 2 Video] Dealer marks up former employee's Bronco by $10k

No, looks like Moon Township Ford on University Blvd
  3. [Updated With Outcome in Part 2 Video] Dealer marks up former employee's Bronco by $10k

Ya looks like he just took it down completely. Hopefully this is as part of his ongoing negotiation. As in: Hey dealer, you got a real shit storm brewing on 6G. I'll tell you what, I'll take this video down right now if you give me MSRP.
  4. To Keep MIC 1.0

Interesting idea. I asked my dealer if I might be able to keep my existing top as a backup and still get the replacement, and he said no. Ford will require you to turn in the old one if you want to get the new one. The reason being, the whole point is to get the poor quality ones off the street...
  5. Pizza cutter 35" spare - rubber bumpers?

I had the same issue when I upgrade my Base tires that are 10" wide to new tires that are 11.2" wide. I took a sharp razor blade and simply trimmed about a half inch off the bumper and left it in place. I think this is probably better than removing it completely.
  6. Rear glass hinge covers incorrectly installed on my Bronco!

Good observation! So I popped off both covers and the LH part was installed on the passenger side of the vehicle, and the RH part was installed on the driver side of the vehicle. The covers are definitely different. I swapped them, and the fit perfectly.
  7. Rear glass hinge covers incorrectly installed on my Bronco!

Edited original post with additional picture, good idea
  8. Rear glass hinge covers incorrectly installed on my Bronco!

Posting this as a Public Service Announcement and also copying @Ford Motor Company for quality control improvement purposes. I'll start by saying this is minor, but still worth noting... The weather was super nice this weekend and I had my 2 door MIC top off and sitting on some blocks on the...
  9. DIY white steel wheels installed on my Base retro build

I will say I like those tires and wheels and hubs and the top. I am not much a fan of the 4 door as compared to 2 door Wrangler. I do NOT like the giant 'Islander' decal, and the white step sandwiched between two back bumpers looks very out of place.
  10. Baja Designs Pocket Fog Light Kit Full Install on 2021 Bronco ***VIDEO***

I would love to see how bright they are in the dark...a video showing the illumination looking forward from the Bronco on and off would be awesome
  11. DIY white steel wheels installed on my Base retro build

I'm glad I could help you narrow down what you like better! That is a big part of why I am putting this out there, to provide some ideas that help others decide how they want to customize.
  12. DIY white steel wheels installed on my Base retro build

I did not have any cracking when I installed the lug nuts. They are the conical type, so the amount of surface to surface contact between the nut and the wheel is very minimal. I am sure any paint that was on that surface will be scraped off, but hopefully it will be just in that very tiny area...
  13. DIY How-To: Painting Beadlock Wheel Beauty Ring From Silver to Black (on Badlands Sasquatch)

Good for you on tackling this DIY! And I 100% agree, while not as durable as powder coat, the best thing about your paint is you can touch them up over and over again.
  14. DIY white steel wheels installed on my Base retro build

If you have white those would look AWESOME!
  15. DIY white steel wheels installed on my Base retro build

Nah I get it. If they don't last it won't be the end of the world! Can always get a new grille (maybe the official retro grille when it comes out), and LOTS of people will be selling the stock base wheels so maybe in a couple years if they look real bad I will powder coat the next set.
  16. DIY white steel wheels installed on my Base retro build

If I am going to do this quick and cheap, I think I would just use a paint roller and some white latex I paint I have leftover in the basement!
  17. DIY white steel wheels installed on my Base retro build

No, I think that is too much. But, some have suggested just taking a paint roller and some primer and then regular old latex paint to it, because if a couple of weeks or so Ford is going to replace it anyway! So I can test what it looks like
  18. DIY white steel wheels installed on my Base retro build

Ya I hear ya, time will tell. Good news is I won't have to replace the tires for a couple years or so, and I can rotate them myself. Worst case if they get nicked up I can just re-spray a touch up
