  1. Customer Care Number

    (800) 392-3673 is the one I have
  2. Anyone ask their dealer if they could leave the Bronco badge off?

I noticed that as well. My plan was to remove them, scan them, and 3-D print it as an actual badge, paint it up, and put it under the script.
  3. Disaster! My incoming Bronco destroyed by trucking company! Please help

I wasn't sure if it did, but makes sense. So the question is: how does one get a record of any pre-sale bodywork then? It seems shady to not disclose bodywork done prior to sale on a "new" vehicle.
  4. (Sing-song)Someone's in trouble...

K'yew See? I see what? K'yew see what they left in that Bronco? :)
  5. Disaster! My incoming Bronco destroyed by trucking company! Please help

One piece of advice I saw elsewhere: Demand a copy of the OASIS report before you sign anything. This should document if any bodywork was done on a 'new' vehicle. Not sure how true that is, but, it can't hurt anyway.
  6. Dealer says they are getting Bronco Raptor allocations, 30K over MSRP

Exactly! DM builds are shipping, and with MY22 colors, features, and now Raptor being announced, how many are going to drop buying a 21 for a 22? ADMs on limited production (red sticker) vehicles makes sense, but the rest? Its going to result in a lot of 'lame' stock that won't move if they try...
  7. We Can Thank Pilson Auto Centers For Excessive Dealer Markups

I don't waste any real energy on it. Just if it comes up. I've had the referral cards since last year. The extent of my 'salesmanship' here is that I just hand the card over and say "go talk to this guy and see if he can hook you up" if someone mentions they are looking for something. No real...
  8. We Can Thank Pilson Auto Centers For Excessive Dealer Markups

MSRP = Manufacturer's SUGGESTED Retail Price. Dealerships can charge whatever they want and they try to gauge what the market will bear when it comes to higher prices. Some dealerships are intentionally using ridiculous ADMs to keep them from being sold right now, too. A full lot looks better...
  9. MY order on Ford.com is now missing

Nope. I have a First Edition, scheduled for week of 10/11, and have a VIN. Its gone from my list, too. But, if I use this link, I can still see it once I add my reservation number, and it requires that I log in: https://www.ford.com/buy/manage.html?reservationId= So yeah, its a glitch.
  10. Newly Produced Broncos Being Shipped with MIC Top 2.0 Ahead of "Dirt Mountain" Replacements?

True. I get plans change and they could have said something, but... Ford doesn't always communicate every change of plan, so I chalk it up to yet another "failure to communicate". I am just glad to see them moving again at this point.
  11. Newly Produced Broncos Being Shipped with MIC Top 2.0 Ahead of "Dirt Mountain" Replacements?

I am sure Ford has DMBs as a priority, but also sliding tops to production to meet the FE promise as the window is closing on MY21 production so they are doing what they can to keep on track in both cases and an overflow helps a lot there. Either way, Ford has not always been great at telling us...
  12. Newly Produced Broncos Being Shipped with MIC Top 2.0 Ahead of "Dirt Mountain" Replacements?

If this is anything like my own history.... 1. They got MIC 2.0 done and they are being produced. 2. DM Broncos get moved to get their tops swapped and shipped. 3. The top-swap location only has so much space. That space has to allow for old tops, new tops, and the Broncos that get them swapped...
  13. Dealer Markups Are Getting Some Press

The bolded part is the key! For both my Bronco and Maverick, the dealer had me sign the DORA, include an ADM on the Bronco, (small, but still... But its small enough that its still less than what missing a day of work would cost me to go to a dealership not doing one.), and they signed as well...
  14. MIC Top 2.0 First Look? [Speculation]

In the 3rd picture (where you see the scratching/water? Overspray?), look along the top edge across the rear - still appears the layering is exposed. And yes, in the 4th image, you can see the snake skinning along the rear window edge/corner. @OP's profile says they are in Mi, but didn't...
  15. why so much delays on Broncos that are built?

Things to note: They don't ship them out individually. Once they enter 'shipping' stage. they get sent to a railyard or carrier depot to be shipped out. They wait until they have enough to go to a specific region rail depot to load them in a railcar or hauler if close enough. Then the shipment...
  16. Dealer Dirty Dealings

As others noted ,push back and demand the person who made the agreement sticks to it. But remain calm and respectful. Even smile. When they give up, consider calling local TV news. In most areas, local news has an "On Your Side" type of news segment. Call them and have them come out...
  17. How to not get burned by your dealer

Did they have you sign that? If not, yeah. .I'd start looking at another dealership.
  18. How to not get burned by your dealer

Paying an ADM is not a requirement. Many dealerships are offering at or below MSRP, so don't let yourself get locked into one just because they are local. As noted in the other replies. Granger Ford is good. Since you are in New England, Stevens Auto Center is also good and they are East Coast...
