  1. I sold family farm to buy a badlands bronco

5k financed over time is more than 5k. I know you know this. Just a gentle reminder from one Bronco owner to another. I don't blame you in the least for buying yourself a Bronco and paying some extra. It looks badass. Congrats and welcome. Edit: But the post title with the whole sold the...
  2. Apalachicola National Forest

Updated with trips, pics, and clips from September 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th. Includes my first time getting stuck, first time taking on water, and first time taking the doors off. All good times.
  3. Apalachicola National Forest

Sounds very fun indeed. Maybe I'll try our Waze. Google Maps has been problematic so far, since it will navigate me right through a trail that might actually be ATV only.
  4. Apalachicola National Forest

Different ones each time so far, since I'm exploring it all for the first time. In every case, though, I take a look at the National Forestry Service's Motor Vehicle Use Map for this particular forest. I've honestly had some trouble reading it, but it is starting to become clearer as I take my...
  5. Apalachicola National Forest

Thanks! And yes very much so!
  6. Apalachicola National Forest

Yeppers! And it's odd to purposefully push through that with accelerator. That said, it's awesome and so much fun. Legitimately useful in some tight spots too.
  7. Apalachicola National Forest

Yikes. Yeah the Bronco makes it difficult for me to see the dangers, since it just rips through everything so effortlessly. That one huge water hole, though, was plenty scary to send me back the way I came. I very much want to get a winch, but I'm hoping for a solution that won't lose any of...
  8. Apalachicola National Forest

Updated with a trip to 360-A, which was honestly pretty spooky. I should stop doing these by myself, but I'm kinda addicted to it.
  9. Soft tops in rain?

I'm in Tallahassee and so far (a few weeks in and about 850 miles) I'm very happy with the soft top. No leaks whatsoever. The sound at 85 or 90 mph on I-10 is completely fine. I don't care one way or the other about a rear wiper. Wavy windows are irrelevant when inside the vehicle. Durability...
  10. Apalachicola National Forest

Gators and water moccasins both, but I'm not sure if they hang out in those blue holes or not. I've been assuming so and keeping an eye out just in case. So far all I've seen are black bear and deer.
  11. Apalachicola National Forest

Updated with my first trip to a blue hole. 😁
  12. First Family Vacation with the Bronco - The Gateway to the West

  13. First Edition Bronco Thread

Things here in the FE thread are looking rough. Don't turn on one another if y'all can help it. Feel free to hate on me instead if it helps. I was a FE reservation but switched to a Badsquatch.
  14. [BEER BATCH] - *Badges, Get your Badges* Bronco Top Woes Pick-Me-Ups

These are excellent. Well done, @CO-Bronco
  15. anyone receive their 2-door sasquatch yet?

Here's to hoping you do see your Bronco soon, and I'll be looking forward to pics.
  16. Bronco Badlands Sasquatch on 37’s + Maxlider Brothers 4” lift kit

I feel the similarly. I don't like it, but I don't know why. Maybe 18" wheels making the tires not look like 37".
  17. Bronco Raptor Interior Badging

I know it's just a cosmetic upgrade, but I'm pretty sure it makes the rig more capable.
  18. Apalachicola National Forest

100%. I absolutely need to get all of those things and I forgot to take a first aid kit. 🤦‍♂️
  19. Apalachicola National Forest

Southwest of Tallahassee is the Apalachicola National Forest. I'll post about adventures there as I explore it, learn things, and hit the highs and lows in my 2021 Badlands Sasquatch. August 4th, 2021 My first little journey. What a thrill to get out there among the trees and start making use...
  20. Anyone got their Bronco yet from the 7/13, 7/14 Build?

Yep yep. 7/13 blend delivered 7/29. Counting my blessings and feeling immensely grateful. It's a blast.
