  1. Wildtrak Bronco Thread

Yeah I sold my truck December 2020 thinking I'd get the Bronco a few months later lol. I was looking at Jeep hardtops on their parts site yesterday and they're going for $2900. Not sure if shipping will be additional cost or not but with shipping + tax, that could easily get close to that...
  2. Wildtrak Bronco Thread

Anyone else really only want the hardtop but are at a point where they need the bronco sooner than later so you're willing to switch to soft top and hope the hardtop isn't $4000 retail in 2023? If so, are you also worried that you're going to order the soft top now, get scheduled and be haunted...
  3. Who's Left? Unscheduled Orders Poll

I'm hoping that a lot of people got their build date emails on 09/30. Selfishly, that means there's a new, closer front of the line for us "somewhat" early reservation people (07/16 myself) who are now 22s.
  4. I’ve only seen one….

I've seen 0 non dealer Broncos here in AZ and 0 when I went to Vegas a few weeks ago.
  5. Anyone else buying another vehicle for now and keeping their order active?

I wish I could lease something until my Wildtrak got delivered sometime in 22 but most leases are a 2 year contract and I don't wanna deal with trying to swap the lease to someone. I don't have any experience with leases so if someone reads this and knows a good way to get a short term variable...
  6. Wildtrak Top: To Wait Or Not To Wait [poll]

I believe in the Ford FAQ it says, your dealer can switch to a soft top for your Wildtrak now but it won't get scheduled till 22.
  7. Wildtrak Top: To Wait Or Not To Wait [poll]

That makes sense and yeah soft top now and wait for mod top might be what I do.
  8. Wildtrak Top: To Wait Or Not To Wait [poll]

There are a lot of other things about the Wildtrak that make me want that trim outside of it originally coming with the mod top. Yes, I did want the mod top at the time of deciding I wanted the Wildtrak but it was just one of many things. I really like the black branding. The interior I've...
  9. Wildtrak Top: To Wait Or Not To Wait [poll]

Any other Wildtrak orderers thinking about switching to a soft top? I've been going back and forth. I really don't want a soft top but the wait is getting crazy. Thinking about waiting as long as I can hoping that there'll be some positive news on hardtops for 22. If there's no positive news...
  10. (Edited with adds) I am suddenly excited about the MY22 B&P release

With MY22 order banks supposedly (hopefully) opening on 9/13, I wonder if 22 B&P will go live before that between 9/1 and 9/13. https://www.donlen.com/manufacturer-updates/build-out-startup-dates/ford-lincoln-trucks-build-out-final-order-start-up-dates/
  11. Potential Hold Over Vehicles?

This was in the most recent official Ford email for unscheduled order holders. "Your dealer will reach out at that time [September] to place your order and see how they might be able to help with any vehicle needs, making the wait for your Bronco a little more bearable." I wonder if this means...
  12. Why no soft top for Wildtrak?

For sure. I never thought about what they do with the mannequins. That's interesting. Probably just sell em like that because as some people said, the whole no soft top on a Wildtrak is probably a money loss thing. In the big picture, they won't lose that much money from the 1000 or 2000 soft...
  13. (Edited with adds) I am suddenly excited about the MY22 B&P release

Ya know, for those of us unscheduled without VINs if you just kinda try to forget the last year of Bronco stuff and act like it didn't happen. Think of it as just starting right now since a lot of us officially can't do anything about it anyway (Wildtraks & 2 Doors)... B&P opens next month...
  14. Why no soft top for Wildtrak?

Was it mentioned anywhere as to why a Wildtrak can't get a soft top amid all this hardtop craziness? Is it just because the model is supposed to have a hardtop? Or is there an actual functional or safety reason? Technically the Wildtrak is supposed to have a mod top so it can't really be because...
  15. Painful (but responsible) solution to MIC issue decided. Announcement imminent.

Official recall on the current MIC hardtops. Sending soft tops to all current MIC owners. All models in the lot and being built will be soft tops for the indefinite future. No time estimate on when hardtops will be available because they now have to build a new facility for the tops and redesign...
  16. Line in the sand ⏳

I think if I new it'd be at least another year before I got it, I'd probably have to find something else for now. Still keep my order though and just get it when it finally came. Like others have said, it's the only thing out there (right now) that makes me want a new car and willing to spend...
  17. [Update 7/30] Ready to roll: MAP readies for "full speed" Bronco production as questions loom

About 55,000 more 2021 Broncos will probably be built in the remaining part of the year. Not all customer orders though.
  18. [Update 7/30] Ready to roll: MAP readies for "full speed" Bronco production as questions loom

550 a shift. How many shifts a day? How many days a week? Are they doing the every other Saturday thing?
  19. Customer Wildtrak With Soft Top?

Haha also what I thought when I saw that. Or he works for a dealer.
  20. Customer Wildtrak With Soft Top?

That's what I thought as well. Looks like this guy got one though 🤔
