  1. The official, my dealer is a tool and won't tell me my rail car number.

There is an auto ramp located just outside of Baton Rouge that is operated by the UP. I’m sure that’s where your Bronco is headed. Once it gets through Chicago it’s a fairly straight shot south. Shouldn’t take too long.
  2. The official, my dealer is a tool and won't tell me my rail car number.

Nothing like that. Everything on a rail car is loaded at a single origin and unloaded at a single destination. It would add too much time to make a stop (several days added to transit) and the auto ramps are not set up to handle traffic like that. I’m not as familiar with CSX’s network but my...
  3. Khaki Green Bronco Outer Banks Build - 2" Lift, 35" Nitto, 20" Wheels, Rigid Lights, etc.

I would of done the grill in the bronze color. Otherwise love it!
  4. The official, my dealer is a tool and won't tell me my rail car number.

Your dealer could try doing a gate release. Basically they take possession of the vehicle at the ramp instead of when it's unloaded at their dealership. Some dealers will do that, but it means they accept the liability between the ramp and the dealership. I don't know the mechanics behind doing...
  5. The official, my dealer is a tool and won't tell me my rail car number.

Your VIN has been grounded and waiting pick up since 11/25. It's out of the railroad's hands at this point. They have to wait for the road carrier to come pick it up. That's between Ford and the road carrier. To answer your question, no. The railroad wants the vehicle off property in less than...
  6. The official, my dealer is a tool and won't tell me my rail car number.

Your Bronco is in Chicago. Won't depart headed west until 12/4 (it has to move through interchange and a couple of yards in Chicago). From there it should move pretty quickly through Nebraska to California. Don't freak out if you don't get any real updates from the system until the morning of 12/5.
  7. The official, my dealer is a tool and won't tell me my rail car number.

If you’re headed East I would not have any insight. My visibility is limited to loads moving west of Chicago. (Going off that your profile says Charlotte, NC. Go Heels!)
  8. The official, my dealer is a tool and won't tell me my rail car number.

If it's AP'd in Wayne it means the car has been spotted to be loaded. If it's AP'd anywhere else it means it's spotted to be unloaded. Given your location (Georgia based on your profile), I wouldn't be able to get you accurate info.
  9. The official, my dealer is a tool and won't tell me my rail car number.

Nope... Just left Chicago for St Louis. From there to Wichita, KS and on to Oklahoma.
  10. The official, my dealer is a tool and won't tell me my rail car number.

It does not appear to be going by way of the UP.
  11. Granger order holder looking for other dealer recommendations

I'm working with Woodhouse in Omaha. I think at this point you'd be looking at MSRP from them.
  12. The official, my dealer is a tool and won't tell me my rail car number.

“Placed at Industry” is the railroad term for at destination
  13. The official, my dealer is a tool and won't tell me my rail car number.

There is an automotive ramp in both Las Vegas (Valley, NV) and Salt Lake City (Roper, UT).
  14. The official, my dealer is a tool and won't tell me my rail car number.

Your Bronco is in North Platte, NE. Schedule shows it arriving at the Roper (SLC) intermodal ramp on the 12/2. From there it will be road carrier the rest of the way to Idaho.
  15. The official, my dealer is a tool and won't tell me my rail car number.

They grounded it on the 25th. Just needs to the road carrier to come pick it up.
  16. Bronco Gear Hooks For Cargo Area Now Available! [Sinister CNC]

Officially the first accessory I’ve ordered. Now just need a Bronco to put it on
  17. Ordering a MIC Top After Delivery

I wanted dual tops, figured hard top in the winter, soft top in the summer. Started out with the factory dual tops, when that got pushed back to ‘23 switched to a hard top thinking I’d get the Bestop. When doing research on the Bestop I saw stuff that basically indicated that the performance of...
  18. The official, my dealer is a tool and won't tell me my rail car number.

It’s at Kirby, but the railcar hasn’t been unloaded. Don’t know the schedule for the ramp, but I wouldn’t expect any movement before Monday. Appreciate the offer of the drink, but totally unnecessary.
  19. WWYD - fly to pick up or put on a transport?

I’ve driven the interstates that he would drive back to Las Vegas. The first 700 miles from Granger to Denver is flat, straight and you can set the cruise control and not touch the pedals for a 100 miles at a time.
