  1. 📝 My Letter to the Ford Executive Team: Safety, Manf. & Quality [and Ford Executive's Follow-Up Response Call]

I still don't understand people (or alternate forums) who take "nothing to see here, move along" approach whenever major issues are raised. It's one thing to bitch about how the interior plastic looks, but another to complain about engine failures that could strand you in the middle of nowhere.
  2. Dealer wants 15k over sticker now that my bronco arrived

If you don't have it in writing, you're going to get screwed. Tell them you will pay their ADM, but you want the salesman to go over each and every feature of the vehicle. After you've wasted a good hour of his time, tell him you want to test drive it again, and give him the ride of his life...
  3. Ford Bronco Badlands 2-Door Review by Autotrader

Next time, skip the background music.
  4. MIC Top 1.0 inside construction & material (cross section) - pics

It looks like that paper honeycomb is widely used, but the outer layers are clearly too thin and the edges are exposed. I'm no engineer, but I would fire the one who designed this. Ford put a band-aid on the exposed edge issue with their half-assed "rolled edge" solution for 2.0, but didn't...
  5. Soo, my Black Diamond has Outer Banks badges.

That would be a smart move. I'm dumbfounded why Ford chose to offer 7 models, which turns the production equation from simple math to a multivariable equation. Offer 3 models and do a limited special edition each year. Reduce the clusterfu&k of interior styles and pick black/gray, brown, and a...
  6. MIC 2.0 Top blew off (forgot to latch)! Pics of damage and material / construction

Sorry about that. The post button didn't appear to work, and yet it worked several times.
  7. MIC 2.0 Top blew off (forgot to latch)! Pics of damage and material / construction

Sorry for your loss. Is that a MIC top or a cheap piece of laminated particleboard furniture from China?
  8. My MIC 2.0 (Molded in Color Version 2) Roof showing exposed honeycomb

Time to accept the reality that these defective roofs are MIC 2.0 and that Ford did not accidentally put a 1.0 on there. Ford put a bandaid on the issue, which is why the "fix" came out so soon. If that's what it takes to get these out the door, then fine, but they better be ready to replace...
  9. Anyone else been keyed yet?

Sorry to see that. Looks like someone tried to break in.
  10. So Am I Crazy?

Don't forget that Uncle Sam and possibly your state will take a nice bite out of your profit for short-term capital gains tax.
  11. Cyber Orange remorse?

You already have the only vote you needed. Go for it.
  12. Resolution on DCH Ford ADM issue

This one looks like a tie to me. Sherminator got screwed and came back for more punishment by ordering a 2022 with the same dealer. The scumbag dealer is now riddled with 1-star reviews in just about every review site this group could find (well done, friends) as well as hundreds of posts to...
  13. Update-Situation fixed-So my Bronco has come in.... & marked up 10k by DCH FORD OF EATONTOWN

Based on current Google reviews, this group has clearly been busy!. Dealership is running out of family members to post fake reviews.
  14. Update-Situation fixed-So my Bronco has come in.... & marked up 10k by DCH FORD OF EATONTOWN

The price was right on the document. He doesn't have to promise to pay (consideration) under the promissory estoppel theory (see https://lawshelf.com/shortvideoscontentview/contract-law-promissory-estoppel-as-a-substitute-for-consideration/) since consideration is not a required element. If the...
  15. Update-Situation fixed-So my Bronco has come in.... & marked up 10k by DCH FORD OF EATONTOWN

The dealer presented him a document on its letterhead with a fixed price (offer). He signed and agreed to buy (acceptance and consideration). Binding contract. An alternate theory is that he relied on this dealer's representation to sell him the vehicle at the promised price to his detriment, as...
  16. Update-Situation fixed-So my Bronco has come in.... & marked up 10k by DCH FORD OF EATONTOWN

And each time he responds, he just increases the chance that this thread is picked up by search engines.
  17. Update-Situation fixed-So my Bronco has come in.... & marked up 10k by DCH FORD OF EATONTOWN

In another striking coincidence, two of the reviewers had the same last name as the manager. Wow, the probability gods are truly smiling on this dealership. I hope the $10k was worth it.
  18. Update-Situation fixed-So my Bronco has come in.... & marked up 10k by DCH FORD OF EATONTOWN

Hmmmm...RJSD is a brand new user who joined today and is strangely siding with a shady dealer who posts fake reviews on Google. Coincidence?
  19. Update-Situation fixed-So my Bronco has come in.... & marked up 10k by DCH FORD OF EATONTOWN

Unless the document you signed has some fine print that "this is not a contract" or other disclaimer, it could very well be interpreted as a binding contract. It has all of the essentials of a contract...item described, price, and your signature. It is on their form and they presented it to you...
