  1. Forscan unlocks all GOAT modes with any Bronco model trim! How-to DIY instructions

Two questions: 1. Is there a way to use Forscan to program the Bronco to engage Sport Mode but leave the transfer case in 2H (in Broncos with 4A available)? Alternatively, if I go to Sport (with 4A) and manually switch to 2H, does it otherwise stay in Sport and retain the other Sport...
  2. 2022 Bronco named a Car and Driver 10Best

Not so weird at all. I was looking for fun cars with manual transmissions. BRZ, Blackwing, and Bronco (among others) all fit that description. I'm getting two of the three. :) Multiple cars on that list, at least half, fit that description--some with longer waits than the Bronco.
  3. MIC top replacement status

This feels like an ideal situation, to be honest. You have a Bronco already. And you'll get a top *later*, when hopefully they've figured out how to build them. Free replacement of what shouldn't be--but is turning out to be--a wear item.
  4. Up-Close Pics: 2022 Capable Front Bumper

Modular / heavy duty bumper looks better than the capable bumper .... but not $575 better. I'm taking the capable bumper and the discount. :)
  5. Welcome to the Chit Show @dealerinsider

I assume these are no longer available??
  6. Am I wrong?

Everyone is different. Some of us keep cars for a long time. If I keep the Bronco (my second new car in my life) as long as I have kept the first one I'll be nearly 80. So it's possible. Really depends on how well built the Bronco is. :)

    Georgia Bronco

Out of curiosity, what trim level Wrangler?
  8. 2022 Bronco Pricing Spreadsheet w/ Accessories

They can and have figured this out. There are many posts about it. They offer it on the Badlands. They simply choose not to offer it on the Black Diamond.
  9. Granger Ford -2022 Bronco Allocation - No one said it was going to be easy

Serious question (for the record, I'm not at Granger): If I did want to change dealers, why would another dealer even want my reservation at this point? If allocations are not based on the original premise, per Ford, that reservations would be built before dealer stock ... then what's in it for...
  10. why are we blaming Ford and not the dealers?

FTFY. Cadillac just did this with the Blackwings. Admittedly on a much smaller scale, but they did it correctly. They limited reservations to what they could surely build in 2021, and it was a small quantity relative to subsequent dealer allocations, so they could do it both ways. My...
  11. Getting back at Fomoco: Boycott Off-Roadeo

Not exactly. If you haven't taken delivery of a Bronco, they hold a $200 (IIRC) deposit until you do. So it would cost you $200 if you attended but then later cancelled your order. At least that's what they had me do when I went.
  12. Is Locking Rear Differential something I want?

Yeah, I'm talking about traction control, sorry. What Jeep calls BLD (brake lock differential). https://blog.stellantisnorthamerica.com/2008/02/11/jeep-brake-traction-control-explained/ Does the Bronco not have this? (I thought it did.) If yes, then the performance in the video I linked to...
  13. What is the fastest you've ever driven (in a car on ground!), what vehicle? Pro racing drivers don't count!

165 on my VFR (on a long downhill, it wouldn't otherwise do that) 130 on my SV (at Road Atlanta, while getting passed like I was standing still by liter bikes) 125 in my Integra ~113 in a Ford Contour SE (electronically limited) Sadly, I never tested my modified BMW 335i before I sold it. :(
  14. Getting back at Fomoco: Boycott Off-Roadeo

Wouldn't it make more sense to attend the Off-Roadeo (while you have a pending order) and THEN cancel your Bronco AFTER you attend? They do charge a nominal fee to attend but I doubt it covers their costs. Not saying it would make much impact to Ford, but I think it would make *more* impact.
  15. Have i made a huge error not getting the 4A mode?

It depends on how you plan to use the vehicle. I agree with a lot of what has been said in this thread (you should get it, you don't need it, etc.). If you need 4WD for off-roading, you don't need 4A (it will be clear when you need 4H or 4L). You may want it for slippery situations on the...
  16. Is Locking Rear Differential something I want?

I understood about the tires. But I had no idea Ford cheaped out on the e-lockers on the Base.
  17. Positraction or a mechanical limited slip diff in the Bronco?

Except when it doesn't. Like in this video.
  18. Is Locking Rear Differential something I want?

Watch the e-locker utterly fail in this video. This is really not a good look for the Bronco.
  19. 📊 2022 Bronco Allocations Formula Per Dealer

Interesting response, considering Gamecock's screen image, screen name, and location. Now that Texas is an SEC state, you should recognize two of the three clues. ;) And the location should speak for itself.
  20. 2021 Bronco snaps both tie rods valiantly on extreme obstacle (Queens Throne obstacle on K2 trail)

Badlands already comes with 4.7:1 final gearing .... if you get the right transmission.
