I am not saying anything against the team that raced it .
I don't understand Ford's though process.
Either run Stock full ( which the did)
Run the class it's in but go all in.
We're not talking some privateer on a budget we're talking Ford .
They entered a pre production OBX for that reason, the R should be about winning races.
Also they proved that it breaks enough to post a pretty poor time.
Edit: maybe they should show us what the 2.7 can do with some additional power.
You're probably right but that doesn't track with me. Either play to win or don't play* you have the off season to stress test the improvements
*On this level, if you're an individual racing to race then enjoy it.

When My oldest was in a rear facing seat, I use to take him around in my BRZ. If I can do that you can do it in a bronco.
That being said, I am going 4door. My newborn is 10lbs and my oldest who is two is taller than the 4 year olds at the play ground. The easier I can make it the better...
I actually bought a car seat to match my autocross car's seat. Then I moved to Texas where there are actual tracks and did it for something a little faster... Now I am thinking about reupholstering to match
