  1. When Exactly in December do we go to the Dealership to Place our Order for the Bronco?

I’d switch since they are either ignorant, or making things up.
  2. "Crash Bars"???

I hadn’t noticed those before...they could be a major problem in going to bigger tires. I hope they are bolted and replaceable with different ones. It wouldn’t leave much room for a 37.
  3. How about soft top only option for FE and Wildtrak

I think there will be a market, but they won’t sell for a lot...I’m ordering the soft top and am planning on picking up a MIC for winter later; my thought is that the market will be such that I can get one pretty cheaply when people upgrade.
  4. When Exactly in December do we go to the Dealership to Place our Order for the Bronco?

He’s a dealer dude...Ford changed things to give dealers a lot more power than the original plan.
  5. Dealer told me low number of reservations...

I didn’t post it, but okay dude, stick your head deep in the sand. As you see, he didn’t answer the question. What he said was factual, and doesn’t conflict with the dealer memo that was posted. Reservation orders do come from a dealer allocation. They are based on a formula. That has nothing...
  6. next size after 35's on base sas??

If they want it to drive like their Audi, then they need to sell the truck, not go to 34s. It is a Bronco...
  7. next size after 35's on base sas??

Depends what you want...for me, yes...too small. Why are you buying the package with 35s and then downsizing it?
  8. Dealer told me low number of reservations...

  9. We need this retro inspired grill ASAP

Yeah, Black Diamond has the best front end. I may go with that over Badlands just to start with that and put money elsewhere in mods.
  10. Dealer told me low number of reservations...

Believe what you want to believe. If you want to live in la-la land, and say “no way in hell it’s going to happen”, just because you believe it to be true, then have at it. But don’t spew your opinion as fact. The facts are in black and white to the dealers. Written. Clear. RESERVATION ORDERS...
  11. Dealer told me low number of reservations...

That is not true anymore; none of it. Ford changed it. There is a formula that will decide how may allocations a dealer gets to fill reservations. The formula favors bigger dealers. (50% orders converted from reservations / 50% prior SUV sales and competitive registrations in their local...
  12. Conversion Percentage from Bronco Reservations to Bronco Sold Orders

What surveys say 40%? I haven’t seen any surveys of reservation holders. I have seen surveys asking people to guess what the conversion rate is...that’s useless. Ford does research and real surveys and wouldn’t just throw out a number like that to investors if they weren’t confident. I bet it’s...
  13. Bronco Badlands on 40s -- anyone else planning for this?

The aftermarket will focus on moderate lifts first to get people to 37s or add more space for 35s. It depends on what you want. If you are going to wheel it, then 40s won't last with the stock diffs. They will break them most likely if you are taking it off road and pressing them...at all. Look...
  14. Bronco Badlands on 40s -- anyone else planning for this?

That's a big challenge, but I'm glad you're going to figure it out for the rest of us. I think yif you What does your Jeep shop say about how they will do it before any aftermarket kits are available? I would get their plan for it. I think for 40s, no need for Sasquatch, you will need all new...
  15. Dealer Allocation Estimate released yet?

The infamous dealer memo laying out the allocation formula for reservations, said that dealers would get an estimate of allocations to fill their orders prior to the order banks opening. Any dealer reps on here know if that has gone out from Ford to the dealers yet?
  16. 2.7 adding resale value?

That depends on your trim level...if the auto is already included, going to the 2.7 adds $1900. On a trim where the auto is not included, it's only $300 to go to the 2.7 compared to the 2.3 with auto, as the auto is included with the engine upgrade on those trims when you add the 2.7.
  17. Dealer told me low number of reservations...

Ask them where your timestamp is relative to the other 3 reservation holders. If you're first or second..you're probably good...3rd or 4th, might want to switch dealers to one who gets allocations on the back half of the formula (sales and competitve registrations) to hedge a little bit unless...
  18. Badlands Vinyl vs Leather

Huh? You claimed leather wears better, “1000x better”. I just asked why it isn’t used in boats, where “wear” is the number one concern? Then you went off in some bizarre unrelated tangent...
  19. Badlands Vinyl vs Leather

1000x better wear? Why don’t they use it on high end boats?
  20. 2.7 adding resale value?

I don’t know...the Jeep resale of the manual with the little engine doesn’t bear that out. I would agree if they eliminate the manual at some point, but unless they do, the market will demand more big engines with autos.
