  1. Last Call: Manual vs. Auto.. Why? (HELP!!)

a lot of recalls and class action lawsuit on the 10R80 automatic transmission but Ford has had issues with the MT82 manual. Will see how the Getrag holds up in the Bronco.
  2. Last Call: Manual vs. Auto.. Why? (HELP!!)

my only hesitation with the manual is Ford isn’t offering it with the 2.7. Initially I struggled with making a decision but to me a vehicle like the Bronco just screams for a manual transmission. It’s purpose is fun and engagement and having a manual transmission IS both of those things. Manual...
  3. Why are you choosing the Bronco over competitors like 4Runner and Wrangler?

The top and doors come off, it comes with a manual transmission and isnt a Wrangler. There are no other choices for new vehicle with these features. If Toyota made a removable top manual 4Runner or FJ again, I would def be interested
  4. Which Bronco is right for me? I’m thinking of putting a deposit on new Bronco vs purchasing a 2020 Toyota Sequoia Limited

Welcome. I had an 07 STi and currently a modified Flex Fuel 2011 STi. Really fun cars! Hope you like your 2020. I’m a Toyota fan as well but I would go with The Bronco over the Sequoia unless you need to tow. The top and doors come off, there will be endless aftermarket, it comes with lockers...
  5. Concerns about Tachometer on Manual

For just daily driving my subie, I never look at my Tach, but if for some reason I’m redlining all the gears, I will glance at it quickly so I shift before over revving. It’s useful.
  6. What color will you paint your bronco grill letters

I’m thinking the aftermarket should have grills that say FORD just like early Broncos
  7. Antimatter Blue vs Velocity Blue vs Lightning Blue on Ford trucks

To those questioning VB...this looks cheap? Looks fkn incredible !
  8. Skip Sasquatch upgrade for Fifteen52 wheels and BF Goodrich tires from Overland build?

I’m getting squatch not for the wheels and tires, but for the 4.7 gears, lift and lockers. Wheels and 35 inch tires are just a bonus.
  9. Base Squatch vs Black Squatch

exactly same here. It’s my 3rd car. I have an ultra comfy loaded Camry hybrid XLE for daily duty and an 11 STi which is not comfy but fun to drive. Bronco will be weekends on the beach, surf fishing. if it was my only car, I would probably go BD or BL
  10. Antimatter Blue 2-Door Outerbanks Sasquatch

count me in too! no Mic top hate here
  11. Base Squatch vs Black Squatch

Went from Badlands to Black Diamond now to Basemansquatch. I do like the MGV seats but will settle for some Wet Okle or similar waterproof or water resistant seat covers and can probably remove carpet for a washout floor. I can’t pass up on the value of the 2 Dr Basemansquatch, @ about $38k OTD.
  12. Second Thoughts on Manual Transmission

and I would still choose the slower manual Mustang
  13. Which build would you buy for 50k?

    or a GT350:)
  14. Getrag 7 speed manual built in China

my wife learned to drive manual in an old CJ and her uncle told her manual transmission makes it a “vehicle”, auto transmission is Just transportation. interesting perspective. I like purpose built “vehicles“ with a 3rd pedal.
  15. Which build would you buy for 50k?

    The one with Manual transmission
  16. Ford 2.7L EcoBoost Engine Overview

I would check out the F150 forums for first hand accounts with the 2.7. I’ve been visiting mustang and ranger forums to research the 2.3 since I’m going with the mansquatch
  17. Antimatter Blue vs Velocity Blue vs Lightning Blue on Ford trucks

There’s a Velocity Blue thread on Mustang6g and it’s like car porn and I’ve never owned a mustang or a Blue car lol
  18. Antimatter Blue vs Velocity Blue vs Lightning Blue on Ford trucks

I’ve always bought black or gray cars and gonna step out of my comfort zone with the Bronco and go VB. It looks amazing on Mustangs and Raptors I’ve seen.
  19. Second Thoughts on Manual Transmission

It kills me that Ford didnt offer the 2.7 Manual but it would probably kill me more to be forced to drive an auto Bronco. A real sport transmission with paddle shifters might have changed my mind a bit but I have an Auto Camry Hybrid daily and its Boring. 2dr 2.3 Basemansquatch for me. 4.7...
  20. Spotted: 4-Door Carbonized Gray Badlands on 33's

In researching Bronco colors and the 2.3 Ecoboost, I ended up on the Mustang6g forums and eventually into the Shelby GT350 thread and have been having bad thoughts lol. I still want a Bronco, but for $50k, can get a very nice low mileage GT350. Amazing car. The GT500 is just too much.
