Anyone else get a Pre-Approval notice on their Bronco Reservation?

I asked about that when I moved my reservation. The time stamp in Ford's system is in the UTC time zone.

    Land Rover Ad

When I was in the Army, on one of my deployments I was in an air defense unit attached to Prince Sultan Air Base in Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia. Our site was about 30 minutes off base in the middle of the desert. We would run chow out to the site using a mid 90's Land Rover Discovery, because we...

    Why not Base Sasquatch help

Aww man! That's even worse than I thought, but the exclusion is probably closer to 50%.

    Why not Base Sasquatch help

Of course, a $38k price tag excludes probably 75% of the population of the US, if not more. It's a luxury, even if it's not a luxury vehicle.

Sasquarch roof racks restricted from factory due to issues with GVWR; can still be installed aftermarket

True. I'm just conversing as I read stuff and positing plausible theories. Just working through things logically and welcome any additional information or perspectives. I don't even have skin in this game, since I'm planning to get a OBX non-squatch. I just can't help trying to analyze the...

Sasquarch roof racks restricted from factory due to issues with GVWR; can still be installed aftermarket

There is something in the stock Badlands suspension that is different from Sasquatch, unless this is completely false on the compare sheet: "Unique Badlands suspension with front stabilizer bar disconnect." Case in point, the Sasquatch on Outer Banks does not have the front stabilizer bar...

Sasquarch roof racks restricted from factory due to issues with GVWR; can still be installed aftermarket

The Black Diamond has the same standard suspension as the Base through Outer Banks. The Badlands has a, "Unique Badlands suspension with front stabilizer bar disconnect." Then WT, FE, SasXAllTrims all share the Sasquatch suspension. Badlands is unique that you can have the 2.3 EB + 10 Speed Auto...

Sasquarch roof racks restricted from factory due to issues with GVWR; can still be installed aftermarket

Correct, the rep specifically said it was not squatched. So what else do you get with the Sasquatch package other than 35 inch tires? ...different suspension components. This is exactly what I'm getting at. If B&P is not wrong about the roof rack, then I'm betting it has to do with the Bilstein...

Sasquarch roof racks restricted from factory due to issues with GVWR; can still be installed aftermarket

One of the Ford reps at Super Cel East told me that the Overland Concept had 35" tires, but was not Sasquatch. It has other components are are not part of the Sasquatch package. He didn't say the suspension, specifically, but more and more that's what I think he was getting at. It was the guy...

Sasquarch roof racks restricted from factory due to issues with GVWR; can still be installed aftermarket

I wonder if it has to do with the load-bearing maximums of the Sasquatch suspension components. This is the only thing I can think of that makes sense where it is allowed on the 2 door with SAS and not on the 4 door with SAS. The longer wheelbase and capacity puts more weight on the rear...

Ford chat rep claims trim / model change will require new reservation

...and B&P has been a model of accuracy. Hahahaha. (Pun intended)

Ford chat rep claims trim / model change will require new reservation

There's also the fact that "trim" and "model" are not the same thing. Badlands and Outer Banks are the same model, but different trims. If you want to change from a Bronco to a Mustang, that is a model change. Make: Ford, Model: Bronco, Trim: Badlands.

    Slide out tailgate? Power seats?

I'm pretty sure they are NOT offered on Badlands, because of the active drain plugs. I think I remember that question being answered in one of the videos. They didn't want any electronics where you'd be shoving a hose.

**CORRECTED** BUILD & PRICE REFERENCE GUIDE for 2021 Bronco!

Well, if you can't hear the upgraded bashing, the upgraded bash plates don't make sense!

    No X-Plan for Bronco?

Yeah, I'm hoping the inclusion of Bronco in the second footnote was a copy/paste error. Clearly I couldn't use the bonus cash in the first footnote by the end of January.
