Submit Your Bronco Questions For This Week’s Off-Road Expo Appearance

I can only base my comments from the Tacoma perspective. Speculation at best, however it’s my opinion that... - in time we will have many aftermarket bumper options - factory take off bumpers will be available in limited qtys, I plan sell both my front & rear BL bumpers, I expect others will...

If you’re interested in a steel rear bumper for your Bronco, seriously don’t worry. I’m very confident that within a few short months there will be several aftermarket options that will all be bolt on. Or plenty of people (like me) that plan to sell their stock bumps replace them with...

    Alternative to Ford compressor?

I believe I have the Viair 400P. It’s not fast but it works. Takes me approx 30 minutes to air up my 35’s. The ARB Twin is at least twice as fast. My buddy has a Jeep on 37’s and it’s crazy fast.

Ok fine, I’ll play. I’m familiar with press rigs, embargo, and so forth. I’m aware that these events are designed to educate consumers. However showcasing vehicles that consumers will not be able to purchase is a marketing approach that falls short for enthusiast groups because we know what...

Ok...well ya got me there. Poor choice of words. Production examples AKA samples. I work in product development so I get it, and yes (in about 4 hours) beer me! 🤣 But honestly, orders will be placed very very soon. It’s time for Ford to put the concepts away and show us examples of the real...

Thanks for the offer to try and answer questions. - “When will professional photos of all SP22 (samples / examples) vehicles in all colors be provided?” - asked above but “Will Ford Performance offer 2” lift kits?” I’m specifically looking for 2D Pics in Area51, Iconic Sliver & Cactus...

Bronco Hard Top How-to Video: Remove Roof Rack, Panels and Hardtop

I’m also planning to exclude the roof rack. It’s a convertible. Plus I want to significantly reduce the size & weight of my camping gear kit. Also, for the record that process to remove the rack & top is as simple as it gets. Very easy. Let’s hope those little windshield mounting point caps...

Bronco Hard Top How-to Video: Remove Roof Rack, Panels and Hardtop

That’s correct! My wife and I were born and raised in MN. We moved to CO for college in the mid-90’s and we’ve (mostly) been out west ever since.

Cool! Thanks for posting this. I’m looking forward to watching this about five times in a row. Then it will be time for some home made turkey & wild rice soup. Shortly followed by an episode of the mandalorian & a tall beer! PEACE!

Have we seen standard bash plates compared to HD bash plates?

This. 👆 I agree. I’d bet a sixer that the standard plates are just “this” thicker that a heat shield and the upgraded plates are slightly better than average factory skids. That said they’re unlikely to be as thick / durable as most aftermarket steel skids. Also no way these are aluminum...

    Bronco Build for Overlanding

If your question is “Do 35’s help roll over rough trails?” I’ll say yes, but not w/o consequence. That said, I plan to Sasquatch my 2D, add proper 35’s & a suspension lift when available. 😎

    Bronco Build for Overlanding

Having been there and done that I’d say you’d be fine with 33’s and a rear locker. Unless you are, or plan to become an advanced offroad enthusiast then you’ll be fine with 33’s. My suggestion is to buy the truck based on your future needs, and how you plan to drive it. If 90% of your daily...

Noise Reduction Material Carpet vs Non-Carpet

These will not be quiet vehicles. My current truck is loud for a variety of reasons. I’m planning to add the factory headliner just because, but I have no illusions that it will be quiet like my wife’s swanky Telluride. Per you question about vinyl vs carpet floor I don’t believe anybody...

Rock rails or better yet sliders, can be added super easily. Changing out an entire interior....not so easy.

Same here! I can’t wait to see more 2 doors in the wild. I’ll be popping those backseats out & back in on a regular basis. 🤘
