  1. Satin Sasquatch Wheels?

I’d just like some wheels attached to a Bronco at this point. But I’d prefer satin. I plan to paint the rings first thing. What did you have in mind? Plastidip or a clear satin? I’ll keep an eye on what you do.
  2. You CAN move your Bronco reservation as of TODAY!!!

So two major issues with this for me. One, just the timing impact of the reservation time stamp. If Granger is overwhelmed, then a dealer with ‘22 allocation is going to be faster, so that’s a wash. The other question is 2021 price protection - if it doesn’t transfer, do I lose my $900 price...
  3. The Panda Power Module is HERE! The First 2.3L Tuning Solution by Panda Motorworks!

So based on this, it should be useable in California. Apparently they are now searching ECU logs during smog checks and failing vehicles with tunes. Just would want to double check there’s no way for the state to find it. Of course, I still need a Bronco, but there are plenty of threads...
  4. You CAN move your Bronco reservation as of TODAY!!!

Well, the key thing to understand is you really want to move your time stamp, not your order. You can walk in tomorrow and place a new order, but in theory you’re moving to the back of the line. But Ford effectively eliminated the time stamps with the ‘22 allocation model. Dealers have more...
  5. Bronco vs. modified Jeep JL and JK rock crawling comparison run

Great videos. But it does pose the question how you can turn off the parking sensors/alarms. That would drive me nuts on the trail. I didn’t notice it at off rodeo. Any experience?
  6. Side view mirrors whistle

The BaseSquatch I drove at Moab OffRodeo had a whistle when on the highway. I couldn’t figure out the source, but sounds common. There’s another thread where someone reports fixing it with a black silicon caulk.
  7. You CAN move your Bronco reservation as of TODAY!!!

Speculation on my part, but I’m not sure they actually move orders. My Ford.com account still shows the original dealer, but I do have an order with the new dealer. If I get a Bronco, I’m not sure I care.
  8. Sleeping in 2 Door Bronco

I’ve been thinking about this too. Mostly have been a tent camper, but my last outing in Moab seemed to be during gale force winds. Not good tent weather. I’m not sure a rooftop tent would be any better in those conditions. I found the following setup on a Wrangler forum, where they used...
  9. You CAN move your Bronco reservation as of TODAY!!!

Yes, an order. Now, my caveat is that my account on Ford.com hasn’t updated. My new dealer said he even saw a VIN today in my order!! I’ve decided to join team Sasquatch though, so that’s complicating things. So I’m hoping I can update my order - and it would be great to get one in ‘22...
  10. You CAN move your Bronco reservation as of TODAY!!!

Success!! I just had the strangest call with the Ford center…guy couldn’t find my order, couldn’t see any notes on my transfer request…went quiet many times - then relayed that my order was with my requested new dealer. I called them and confirmed. So it seems to have worked!!
  11. You CAN move your Bronco reservation as of TODAY!!!

Unfortunately, I don’t know what we can do at this point to press Ford on the topic. I asked @[email protected] if he’d seen any transfers, but heard nothing. So I don’t know if Ford has approved anything. Either we’re being ignored, or maybe there’s something being worked that will be rolled...
  12. Where do I stand in line?? - Granger Ford Customers

Zach, have you seen ANY order transfers, versus reservation transfers? There’s a 6G thread underway about the supposed process, but a lot of skepticism developing that there is no process. Folks are beginning to think this was a distraction play on the part of Ford and that no order transfers...
  13. You CAN move your Bronco reservation as of TODAY!!!

I’m starting to wonder if this is just a “rope-a-dope” strategy. They have a count on the affected customers across the three big dealers. Everyone else is likely a rounding error. So they know the worst case scenario of folks dropping out, which is in the hundreds. Not a big hit given...
  14. Questions about paint protection film PPF

I have XPEL on my 911. My last one got sand blasted on the highway, and while the insurance paid for the repaint, I lost the same amount on resale value. The XPEL is worth it, in my opinion. It’s pretty easy to handle. I have a ceramic coating from Carpro over the entire car, including the...
  15. Bronco Experience At Castaic Lake, California!

Sounds great! I’m going next weekend. Just finished Off Rodeo, so it won’t compare, but still looking forward to it. What models did they have available? How long did you get to drive?
  16. 2DR Area 51 BD 2.3 MT Review...

Exactly my config, though I’m a long way from getting one. Just did Off Rodeo and drove a 2dr Sasquatch. I was a bit more impressed by Trail Turn and One Pedal than I thought I’d be. So I’m now tempted by the auto. I’m still torn on Sas. Clearly has more clearance, but I love the...
  17. You CAN move your Bronco reservation as of TODAY!!!

Just checked in with Ford marketing. It’s been three weeks since I opened a case. The rep thought that my issue might be I had a reservation, moved it, converted to order, and now want to move back. My issue was the local dealer was quoting “market pricing”, and I moved to one of the active...
  18. Black Steelies on Sasquatch?

I drove a 2 door BaseSquach at OffRodeo this weekend, and it’s a very capable rig. No passenger grab handle though, so be warned about that. I want the washout interior, but don’t like the orange Badlands trim. Seriously considering adding SAS to my Black Diamond order, but I also really...
  19. BD SAS + black, white, silver powder coat steelies w/ bronco cap

Old thread, but after Off Rodeo, I’m back to considering Sasquatch on my Black Diamond. I really like the steelies too, but they’re only 7.5” width, which seems small for a 12” tire. I found these at 4wheel parts. Might work…thoughts...
  20. Picking Up Your Bronco at the Michigan Assembly Plant

Porsche does this in the Stuttgart factory and they have dealers. You go pick it up, drive around Europe, then they ship it to your dealer. I assume Ford doesn’t see enough interest in buyers flying to Michigan. I might though. Why not road trip back?
