  1. Remove front roof accessory panel

Happy to help but I am also pointing out that the manual does have some good info.
  2. Picked up my wife’s 392 Wrangler. Some comparisons to my First Edition Bronco

Love the colors of your vehicles. How does the Jeep sound? My 09 is ok but I did do after market exhaust so a bit fake.
  3. Remove front roof accessory panel

    In the owners manual.

@titleistforged not sure but checking it out on Tuesday in my friends 4Runner. Will report back.

@Daktari I think for me it will be Gaia or the Ford one. I think the Ford one you can have your phone on the dash and record your journey. It will also tell you when you used any of the hero buttons and such. We shall see. My buddy uses Gaia.

@Daktari You sure have your bases covered! I read, I think, that the Ford one will not be built in but work like Gaia and the others do by projecting onto Sync 4. I could be wrong though but we will find out. Hopefully soon. It is still "winter" and they said it would release in the winter.
  7. Much to do about Crashbars

I just want to remove the ones in the front of the wheel as they really are a bit of an eye sore with the mod bumper on my BL. Leave the rear so wheel intrusion can still be somewhat prevented. I'm sure that will compromise safety somewhat but not fully? Not sure if I will lift and do bigger...

@omg_bbq Don't mean to steal Daktari's response but, as I understand, Gaia GPS is "THE" app. However, I am waiting for the Ford one (partnered with Telenav) before I commit.

@U725Bronco I did too. It was fun but way too short. The guy was pushing buttons for me and I couldn't keep up with him. However, after Vegas Off-Roadeo, I feel much more comfortable. That water crossing was fun! I would totally do it in my Bronco! Of course, it might be way deeper now so...

@WantSumBronc yes. We refer to it as BearTrap Cabin trail. Done both directions in my Jeep. The half after the cabin heading towards the ski area is the trickiest. If anyone wants a chill off road experience start at the lower entrance and do an out and back to the cabin. Shouldn’t have any...

@U725Bronco you can pick and choose at Hollister so no worries about damage. Kind of like skiing. All kinds of levels. Of course, no guarantee something won’t happen. But driving to Safeway isn’t a guarantee too.

Knoxville OHV Park. Haven’t gone yet but it is fairly close to you.
  13. Experiences with CarMax

Let's not forget that today's car market is completely different than before-vid. I think they were great and easy. I think that there is a cost you should associate with truly hassle free and my experience was pretty hassle free. Rather take a bit less than deal with the hassle of listing...
  14. Solution for popping/rattling MIC top!

Now that my front popping has stopped, I have heard something from the back. However, I haven't dug into yet. Sounds like it is coming from the way back. Vehicle is being wrapped this week and the OEM protection on the lip where the rear top sits will get new PPF. Waiting to see if that...
  15. Solution for popping/rattling MIC top!

Flocking tape I had laying around worked. The silicon spray did not work. edit…to add I only did the two holes above the driver and passenger heads. That appears to be the place the popping comes from. Other holes have nothing.

What do you have in case you need to lift your vehicles?

  19. My thoughts on tires, wheels and pressures

Probably meant replaced but I also didn’t think they put some seal on the beads. I’m not sure though. What I want to know is what psi should I use when staying at a Holiday Inn Express? ;-)

Let us know what you find out. Personally, I don’t think they are that type of dealership and there is nothing wrong with that. There are so many shops in the Bay Area they probably couldn’t be competitive enough. I could be wrong though.
